Chicago Bulls injury report versus Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Bucks
The Chicago Bulls may be just 24-26 on the year so far, but they have fought their way up to ninth place in the NBA Eastern Conference. This means, of course, that they are in the NBA Playoffs picture, for now, as a possible play-in tournament team.
They can increase their lead over the lowly Milwaukee Bucks, who are just 18-29, when they face off against each other on Tuesday night. Indeed, Milwaukee has been one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA this season. They have gone from perennial playoff contenders to the laughing stock of the league in short order amid constant trade rumors as well.
The Chicago Bulls injury report vs the Milwaukee Bucks
Unfortunately for the Bulls, they are going to be considerably short-handed when they face the Bucks on Tuesday night. The good news, though, is that Milwaukee has had trouble beating short-handed teams this season.
Bulls injury report
- Zach Collins (toe sprain): Out
- Noa Essengue (shoulder surgery): Out
- Josh Giddey (hamstring strain): Out
- Kevin Huerter (back spasms): Questionable
- Tre Jones (hamstring strain): Out
- Julian Phillips (wrist sprain): Questionable
- Dario Saric (not with team): Out
- Jalen Smith (calf injury management): Questionable
Josh Giddey, as one can see, is still dealing with the hamstring strain that caused him to miss 11 consecutive games in January. It is still possible, though, that Kevin Huerter, Julian Phillips, and Jalen Smith still play.
Bucks injury report
- Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf strain): Out
- Alex Antetokounmpo (G-League/two-way): Out
- Taurean Prince (neck surgery): Out
- Gary Harris (hamstring strain): Out
- Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique strain): Out
- Bobby Portis (hip contusion): Questionable
Of course, Chicago is not going to have to face Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is out for an undetermined period of time with a calf strain.
What is interesting to note is that former Bulls star Bobby Portis was added to their injury report today with a hip injury. Typically their Sixth Man, Portis has had to start games as of late due to Giannis’ injury.
If Portis cannot play, Chicago will have yet another advantage in the front court.
