Finally, somebody that doesn’t have a Hollywood fairy tale idea of a nuclear blast kaboom pfft all vaporized. The flash, heat and blast travel outward from ground zero, diminishing as they go, so you end up with a perimeter that’s a larger area than ground zero and potentially more injured survivors than fatalities. If people knew they would survive such a thing we might have some sort of community preparedness. Old White Lady

Don’t drink to much water! Water poisoning is a real thing. Also he is right water is your best radiation shield ( I am a nuclear worker) Fuel rods are submerged in water when they are disengaged from the system for safety and after they are spent until relocation to storage. That is to prevent radiation from escaping into the environment. But don’t guzzle water to fast it will kill you.. but do drink enough of it. Chris R.
