Chicago Bulls HC Billy Donovan makes troubling comment on schedule
The Chicago Bulls embarrassed themselves on Friday night, losing 120-105 to an Indiana Pacers team that entered the game with a 5-18 record.

Coby White returned to the floor after being out of action since Nov. 28 (when Chicago lost to the Charlotte Hornets), leading the Bulls with 22 points in 26 minutes in front of of a crowd of 20,471 fans at the United Center.
That’s a rather large turnout for a bad Bulls team. Chicago dropped to 9-13 with the loss.
As Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic pointed out, the sixth consecutive loss for the Bulls came amid a stretch that should have given the team a boost in the standings. However, Indiana took two from Chicago in the last week.

The Bulls are set to host the Golden State Warriors before getting several days of rest and playing the Hornets on Dec. 12.
Chicago coach Billy Donovan hopes the team can get healthy between Sunday night and Friday, suggesting the team didn’t have enough firepower to contend with bottom feeders amid a dense schedule of games.
“The schedule comes when it comes,” Donovan said, via Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times. “Whether it’s travel or density of games, there are times it’s going to be challenging, and then there are times when it opens up a little bit but you just have to deal with it.
“Maybe that is a time for us to get healthier.”
That’s the reason they can’t even beat the Nets?
It’s too bad the Bulls healthy core isn’t deep enough to get past bad teams. The front office thinks they’re more important than adding a star like Giannis Antetokounmpo.
