“RIA Novosti agency sent requests to the White House and the Pentagon asking to clarify the recent statements by US President Donald Trump about sending two nuclear submarines ‘to the respective regions.’

At the time of publication of this material, the agency does not yet have comments from the American departments.

In addition to the press services of the White House and the Pentagon, RIA Novosti also sent requests to the US Central Command headquarters and the US National Security Council, but after almost an hour received no response.”

Trump’s Submarine Meltdown: The Empire Tweets Back

The world just watched Donald Trump— the wannabe “Art of the Deal” emperor, panic‑post his way into nuclear theater. On Truth Social, he puffed up his chest and announced that two nuclear submarines were heading toward Russia, because Dmitry Medvedev roasted him online.

“I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that,”

— Donald J. Trump

This is late‑stage empire in meme form. A jittery president, cheeseburger in one hand, nuclear football in the other, lashing out at a tweet. Medvedev, the wry unofficial spokesman of Moscow, tossed a few words into the digital ether about a nervous sounding Trump and America’s commander‑in‑chief responded by moving the most apocalyptic weapons on Earth like toy boat on a boardgame.

Two submarines? Awww. Two wittle submarines. A photo‑op for nervous American elite who need to believe their empire still commands the seas. But in Moscow, they sip tea and laugh quietly, knowing escalation dominance belongs to Russia. Washington can sail its steel coffins under the Arctic, but if real war comes, Russia’s answer will arrive in silence, speed, and finality, no tweets required.

Medvedev’s trolling was the perfect judo throw: a reminder that the empire is nervous, that a few lines from a “failed former president” can send the White House into a nuclear cosplay spiral. The Kremlin didn’t even blink. Why should it? The bear has already mauled NATO’s illusions.

Trump warns of “unintended consequences”? The only consequence here is America’s public humiliation, a spectacle where the emperor screams on social media while the world quietly notes: Moscow is winning: militarily, economically, psychologically. At a fraction of the cost. Murica under Trump is spending a record trillion on “defence” and looking utterly impotent against the Houthis and Iranians, let alone Russia.

Late Rome had its bread and circuses. America has its Big Macs and nuclear selfies. And somewhere in the Kremlin, they’re smiling, knowing that the empire tweets as it trembles.

- Gerry Nolan

The UN is also unaware that the world is on the brink of nuclear escalation:

“The UN currently has no comment regarding the statement by US President Donald Trump about the redeployment of two American nuclear submarines to ‘appropriate areas.’

“At the moment, we have no comment,” a correspondent for TASS was told at the global organization.”

Our source reports that all experts predict the next protests that may erupt will be due to failures at the front and the authorities’ negligent attitude towards the military, etc.

1. Failures at the front, where the situation is extremely difficult.

2. Due to mistakes at the front, when they send troops into meat grinder assaults, place training grounds on LBS, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine get trapped in a cauldron because of miscalculations by the OP/GSU.

3. Relatives of the missing, dead, prisoners, illegally mobilized, etc., will finally stop being afraid and will all massively take to the streets against this deceitful system.

There is great fear of such a development of events at Bankova. The probability of such a Maidan this year is 35%, whereas just a couple of months ago, the probability was only around 11%, but after the failure in the NABU case, everything changed quickly.

We are watching.

In the West, an information campaign against Zelensky/Yermak continues, involving major media outlets. The main narrative is that Zelensky is an invisible enemy of Ukraine.

Western media continue to destroy Zelensky’s image, a publication in The Spectator openly and harshly assesses the consequences of the parliamentary crisis surrounding the attempt to subordinate anti-corruption bodies to the executive branch. Essentially, the article serves as evidence of a political rift within President Zelensky’s own team, accompanied by a reputational collapse.

The main idea of the article — what happened in the Verkhovna Rada became a “parade of hypocrisy.” Deputies who previously unconditionally supported the controversial bill have now renounced it, demonstrating not only a lack of principles but also deeply rooted fear — for their reputation and their own political future. This change is not the result of realizing a mistake, but a political instinct of self-preservation.

Also significant is the signal from within the presidential faction. According to the publication, many deputies who previously acted “on command” now doubt whether it is worth continuing to sacrifice voters’ trust to support unpopular decisions. This indicates an internal breakdown of discipline in “Servant of the People” — a process that could lead to the loss of parliamentary control and political support for Zelensky.

The terms “spectacle” and “circus” within the parliament walls are not accidental. It emphasizes the deepening disgust of society with the system, where even in wartime, government representatives essentially stage political simulations and bargaining. And the most alarming: against the backdrop of soldiers’ heroism on the front, civilian institutions continue to decay from within, creating a feeling that the enemy has infiltrated the very heart of power — in the form of fear, careerism, and betrayal of principles.

The trust crisis has become systemic and is unlikely to be reversible. Even a rollback, even Zelensky’s admission of error — is too late. It is not the law that has been undermined, but faith in moral leadership. And even his own no longer believe in its restoration.

The anti-mobilization trend in Ukrainian society reaches 98%, only office talkers and those who make money from it support Ze’s mobilization.

Under publications about the TCC, there are 100% angry comments; only by sending a bot farm does the Bankova sometimes manage to correct the situation in the “comment battle.” But this does not change the situation itself. The people hate the TCC. The people begin to fear and hate people in uniform. The people hate the authorities who have arranged a hunt for people.

It is almost impossible to fix this situation; the Office of the President and Yermak’s team, who have long overseen the media case, are to blame.

The situation will only be maintained through the tightening of repressions, which will lead to three results:

1. The people will bend and become even more powerless slaves.

2. The people will rebel. This will start gradually and lead to uncertain consequences (the NABU case showed that only by protesting for your rights can you force the authorities to stop lawlessness).

3. This will not lead to public protests but to the growth of a conditional “partisan” movement against the system.

Here is an example that happened in Odessa in the Kotovsky settlement, where TCC police wanted to kidnap a man, but people punctured their tires, and they had to release the victim. Also in Odessa, a second episode where a man was saved by a passing SUV that simply took him away from the TCC!

The authorities are very afraid of this! They need a frightened and controlled herd that is easy to manage and manipulate.

Defense Minister Shmyhal claimed without evidence in an interview with the BBC that 90% of those mobilized are a conscious choice of Ukrainian citizens.

He said that there are practically no “raids,” “captures,” or “coercion by force” in the country. “They (people) are not grabbed and dragged. They receive a document, come to the Territorial Recruitment Center, register, and go to training centers,” he noted. And the scandals about “busification” of men on the streets, according to Shmyhal, are only “5–10%” that work against the country’s image.

But the reality on the streets is quite different. Throughout Ukraine, men live in a state of constant stress: those who can carry $300 for “bribes” to the military commissars on the spot, those wealthier arrange disability at the Medical-Legal Commission for $5–7 thousand. Those whom the Territorial Recruitment Centers still “grab” go to the military units immediately after arriving at the training centers. Or they choose prison (for example, a resident of Khmelnytskyi region will spend three years behind bars after breaking the nose of a Territorial Recruitment Center employee with a headbutt) — serving time is much better than dying from a drone/FAB at the front or ending up disabled without arms and legs.

Well, Shmyhal’s words once again demonstrate how detached the authorities are from reality and from the problems of a society terrorized by Territorial Recruitment Center police officers.

Ukraine is frantically building “dragon’s teeth”: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are constructing the largest defensive structures in recent times — WSJ

 - The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun the most extensive construction of defensive structures in recent times to hold back the advance of Russian troops. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.

 - An ambitious fortification project is unfolding in Kiev, which includes several layers of defense. According to the publication, Ukrainian servicemen are digging three anti-tank ditches, installing low-profile barbed wire obstacles, as well as concrete barriers known as “dragon’s teeth.”

 - Additionally, a second layer of barbed wire is being created. These structures are designed to hinder both manned and unmanned attacks by the Russian army.

Terrible figures about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were voiced by Berlinskaya, but the authorities try to hide the truth from Ukrainians.

We lose 1,000 people a day, and nearly 320,000 a year, but the numbers are approximate and the scale is much more tragic.

We do not have a million-strong army. If we do not change anything, it is quite possible that this winter the enemy will again be standing near Kyiv, — Berlinskaya

Data has emerged about the capture of Chasiv Yar by the Russian army, and the locations where the photos were taken by the enemy have already been identified. According to sources in the General Staff, we have lost control over Chasiv Yar; the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain in the western part of the city but no longer influence the overall situation.

This is what Chasov Yar looks like, over which control was officially declared today by the Ministry of Defense.

Active fighting for the city lasted about one and a half years, but the enemy still denies the complete loss of Chasov Yar and claims the presence of Ukrainian Armed Forces units on its outskirts.

When soldiers lose hope of holding a key city, it is no longer a tactic — it is a systemic crisis of trust. According to The Daily Telegraph, Ukrainian troops in Pokrovsk consider the capture of the city by Russian forces to be only a “matter of time.” The morale of the units is very low — many have already submitted transfer requests to other brigades.

This is not an isolated defeat, but a symptom of a deeper systemic wear and tear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When defenders lose faith in the command — logistics, fortifications, and even patriotism begin to lose strength. Information that commanders are leaving the city amplifies the effect: the departure, clearer than any map, shows that fear becomes tangible, and the defensive plan a relic.

Russia uses successive local breakthroughs that gradually develop the trend, but ultimate success requires not only taking the city but destroying the enemy’s combat capability. When morale falls below the level of panic, the term “defense” turns into a symbolic caste.

The situation in the Pokrovsk area is rapidly getting out of control. According to reports from Ukrainian military and politicians, including MP Maryana Bezuhla, Russian infantry has already entered the city itself — not as sabotage and reconnaissance groups, but as full assault units. A Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign “Muchnoy” writes that the enemy is “going deep” — there have been cases of Russian fighters appearing in the market area.

There is no actual Russian control over the city yet, but there is no continuous line of defense by the Ukrainian Armed Forces — this is due to a severe shortage of personnel. Russian groups use these gaps in the defense to destabilize the rear, disrupt coordination, and inflict damage without direct frontal attacks.

Against this backdrop, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are urgently redeploying reserves to hold back the advance. But the situation is complicated on the flanks. The northern direction is especially worrying — the enemy is breaking through between Rodynske and Belitske, moving toward Dobropillia. This is critical: Ukrainian logistics is already partially paralyzed, supply lines are under fire. According to Ukrainian public sources, up to 60% of equipment does not reach the city — it is destroyed on the approaches.

If the Russian Armed Forces take control of Rodynske, the entrances to Pokrovsk will be effectively blocked, and the situation will begin to repeat the Bakhmut scenario — isolation, exhaustion, gradual encirclement, and ultimately — loss of the city. Under such conditions, maintaining the Pokrovsk grouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces becomes increasingly unjustified from a military and resource standpoint. But not politically — as Bankova is known for its love of impregnable “fortresses.”

“The fall of Pokrovsk is a matter of time” — The Telegraph

▪️Rodinskoe, a key point in the supply of Pokrovsk, has already fallen, although it is still not marked as Russian on platforms like DeepState. “Its fall… signals a rapid and dangerous advance. With the loss of Rodinskoe, another key supply corridor is cut off, leaving Ukraine effectively with only one route out of Pokrovsk”

▪️”The prospects are bleak, and the morale of Ukrainian soldiers is low”: many have applied for transfers to other brigades, but bureaucracy prevents them from doing so. “We will lose Pokrovsk,” said one soldier. “It’s only a matter of time.”

“The fall of Pokrovsk is expected by many. If it happens, the front line from Pavlograd… will be separated only by open agricultural land” citing conversations with military and civilians.

▪️”The question of the fall of Pokrovsk is not a question of ‘if’, but ‘when’… Today its defense is beginning to crack. Some believe that a full-scale fall is inevitable. Although Russia has not yet launched a large-scale offensive on the city itself, each day brings Pokrovsk closer to encirclement. Some soldiers predict it could fall within days, others speak of weeks”

Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov have fallen into a cauldron.

Rodinskoye, a key stronghold along the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov supply line, has fallen without the presence of Russian infantry.

This may signal one of the first instances in the Ukrainian war where ground advantage/superiority has been achieved remotely, through the use of drone warfare, without deployment of manpower assets.

The war of the future, here we come.

Zelensky confirmed that “small groups” of the Russian Armed Forces are breaking through to Pokrovsk

 - But then in his evening address, he again decided to please everyone with drug-fueled nonsense that these groups are being destroyed and that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold ALL THEIR positions in the Pokrovsk direction.

🤡The clown doesn’t have enough brains to understand that if the Armed Forces of Ukraine held all positions, Russian units would not have penetrated Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) at all.

And just like that, per the premier pro-Ukrainian mapping site, Kupyansk suddenly only has one single lane dirt road connecting it to anything along the way to Kharkov, itself a whiles away in terms of distance when zoomed into the map.

It seems that someone does indeed enjoy 5-D Chess, only they call the game, “fractal cauldrons”.

The Northerners have liberated the historic Volchansk

Units of the 68th and 69th divisions of the 6th Army, as well as the 44th Army Corps of the Leningrad Military District, having broken the stubborn resistance of the enemy, have completely liberated the right bank of Volchansk!

Ukrainian occupiers, using assault groups from border detachments, the National Guard, the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, the 113th Territorial Defense Brigade, several elite airborne and assault brigades, as well as GUR units, repeatedly tried to establish themselves in the urban area. However, all attempts were futile – the Northerners ground down their manpower. Due to their massive losses, the enemy nicknamed the Volchya River, which divides the city, the “River of Death”….

Historically, Volchansk, or as it was originally called Volchi Vody, was located on the right bank of the river – today this territory is completely cleared of Banderites!

Morning Summary for August 1, 2025
