I just came from the Theater where I saw Conclave (Saw VENOM, yesterday, “don’t Judge” LOL, yes pun on purpose, more down-thread). I am still of MIXED EMOTION/THOUGHT. There are PROS there are CONS, some might say then it is BALANCED regarding opposing factions and many in middle and leaving WE THE PEOPLE to decide. No SPOILER in that really, just a FOREWARN to be sure you know what you’re walking into so you will not be disappointed by maybe NOT getting exactly what you may be HOPING for or expecting!!!

First, I keep accidentally calling it ENCLAVE. LOL. Though just a Brain-Fart, I usually then try play it off as  A JOKE and word-play! LOL But, no, Brain-Fart. Also proceed knowing I had NO PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS going in, I had not and still do not have “issues” with the Dan Brown books and Film-Adaptations they produced (very “entertaining” (I really LOVED “Angels and Demons” book; more like a Spy/Terrorism Thriller; and do not recall how much the Movie stuck to that book or not ((Terrorism, like my TS book) and as I just texted someone (today Sat. 10/26) chatting about (She says she’ll probably SKIP THIS) movie I responded: Like DAN BROWN books (and related movies) ENTERTAINING, just do not expect complete adherence TO REALITY!!! and unlike the Dan Brown Film-Adaptations that MOVED FAST this one MOVES LIKE MAPLE-TREE-SYRUP dripping fresh from the Tree (Plan on eating your Pancakes dry, LOL))) and frankly anything like that, or this, that may make some people ASK QUESTIONS (non-Believers I’m talking here) and then PRAY they “interested” enough to then actually READ THE BIBLE and FIND JESUS is (while, yes, can confuse some people with Fictional portrayals, but) a GOOD THING (in general, at least one Hopes/Prays)).

WOW – is the first Word. But I am bouncing around a lot of different thoughts in my Head and NOT SURE what to really think of it, where after likely needing days of contemplation how/where/why I will ultimately come down regarding it.

Cast: A+
Production: A+
Script/Story: ?? Not So SIMPLE ?? (my dichotomy)

Next obvious, and one thing bothering me: what was the Actors’ (and I am impressed by the Cast they put together), Directors, Producers, ScreenPlay adaptation, and even the original Author of the book based upon —- INTENTIONS?!?!? We’ve seen endless fare attacking Christianity as a whole and in general. Was this intended to be that?

There was some GOOD and some I HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT there-in!!! There sure seemed to be a strong thread of ANTI-TRADITIONALISM through – a The Church needs to LIGHTEN UP and LOOSEN UP on actual Biblical tenants to better “fit the World, than God.”

 

Without giving major Spoilers, one line I loved was the talk about CERTAINTY – with CERTAINTY there would be no need for Faith! And, hard to disagree with that, and though it seems a lot of Humanity would prefer CERTAINTY and ease in Life. So, that a bit of contradiction. And that word there “contradiction” is important (/christian-news/2024/06/did-jesus-ever-contradict-himself-of-course-not-humankind-in-frailty-can-and-sometimes-and-does-get-things-wrong-2622143.html). And as pointed out, one of the back-and-forth dichotomy and contradictory arguments, MANKIND pushing things more WORLDLY direction to MORAL RELATIVISM/HUMANISM than Biblical – Cultural Marxism into Church (one of the Communist invasion Planks/Plans to undermine all) and Perfect example is Francis who as a Catholic I left the Knights-Of-Columbus due to “do not criticize a Pope” Rule as he is JUST A MAN and as I call him #nincomPOPE far more interested in Worldly COMMUNISM than (Bibilical “Community” and) CATHOLICISM.

 

COMMUNITY (Voluntary (Free Will, Freedom), Charitable (from/with own Blood and Treasure), lift UP, etc.) Biblical 
COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM (Forced, theft redistribution, tear down, etc.) IS NOT

What was their desired Point about DIVISIONS IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH let-alone DIVISIONS between ALL THE SUB-SECTS/DENOMINATIONS within/under Christianity. Therefore back to my CONTRADICTIONS potential Point and Point of that related piece linked above and POINT AND PURPOSE OF MY ChristiTutionalist ^TM Politics Show. IT WAS NOT JESUS that instructed GO FORTH AND CREATE A BAZILLION DIFFERENT SECTS OF CHRISTIANITY AND ARGUE AMONG YOURSELVES. NO, it was FRAIL/IMPERFECT/FLAWED HUMANS that created this mess today and SATAN WINS when we are arguing among ourselves — rather than, again Point of CTP Show, focusing on the things we can all come together under Christ rather than the “potential contention points to bicker about!”

Not to pick on MARTIN LUTHER, but by way of just one example. And one that makes sense for me to make as my GrandFather on my Mother’s side (Kieler), German, so makes sense he was LUTHERAN. So, not about Luther, not about GrandPa, but about Point IN GENERAL. Was Luther DIVINE INSPIRED, DEMONICALLY INSPIRED, just motivated by his own Human “ambition” (another word of importance in the movie)?!?!? I AM NOT MAKING ACCUSATIONS OR ALLEGATIONS, but indeed just ARE THESE NOT AT LEAST SOMEWHAT LEGIT QUESTIONS TO ASK?!?!?

Many FAKE CHRISTIANS today would call JESUS “too Judgemental” and reject. Bible has many Passages/Scriptures on JUDGING (inc. Matthew 7 most ignore all those words past the first 7 words to DISTORT ITS CONTEXT/MEANING). As Pastor Sean Todd (WAAM, The Intersection, Sun’s Noon (and also discussed on Ed Bonderenka’s Your American Heritage show Sat’s 2pET)) says: They only want the Hippie, Hackie-Sack (to which I add, University Toga-wearer Kumbaya singer, as if all SOLVED by HUGS; when I am quoting Sean during my CTP episodes that I feel need to mention his quote), Jesus version – IGNORE all the Tough-Love parts of the Bible. Churches that only Preach part of the Bible, are NOT Real Christian Churches (whole Bible, Full Context, needed). Like those “JESUS“ ”Gets US” “was one of US” Ads, some like, some do not appreciate cuz they imply only the Kumbya Jesus, not whole CONTEXT (cute, YES; clever, YES; misleading, SOMEWHAT) which I wrote on but sadly do not recall in which Article I mention it or would share link to that detailed discussion.

A response I made to someone (SMS Texts, back and forth) in regard to their saying a recent CTP Show “BrainDead (well that’s a harsh title LOL) part 1″ (https://www.buzzsprout.com/2210487/14431880-christitutionalist-politics-s1e33-brain-dead-folks-part-1-well-this-is-a-harsh-show-title-lol) was/is “thoughtful”…

Thx for the feedback on BrainDead1 episode (he will be on my Show soon for an already “Listener Feedback” mini-episode in next several weeks (end of February or early March 2024) when he wanted to react and talk about S1E13 “Censorship” Show) I indeed go for “thoughtful” (always, logic and reason and facts) though I have addressed that sometimes I may indeed get HOT/ANIMATED and sound more like raving lunatic (Leftist) at times (while “spirited” in “tone” and action – still using logic/reason/strategy but just a bit more “passionately” delivered (see related https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bc5yiLorRF0 1m YouTube Short on that))! LOL Thankfully those number of Shows are the exceptions and not the Rule. I am always going for “not the same ole talking-point takes of the usual suspect talking-head parrots” (there is Hannity and a million others for the same-ole bs parrot responses (though, not to say, sometimes a particular talking-point oft heard is not worth repeating too, but parroting cannot be one’s ONE TRICK (and sadly too many are just parrots (or One-Trick-Pony, if you prefer) with never any originality — AT ALL, EVER (at least if delivering the same basic “topics” have some reasonable different approach or other “angle” of delivery than same mono-tone talking-head resting face and voice))).
