The IPO Buzz: Oura & Accelevation Set to Ring Out September

Oura is creating some buzz to ring out September. It’s known for the Oura Ring, which it calls  “the world’s smallest smart ring.” Its software provides users with data on how their daily habits – diet, exercise, sleep and other metrics – affect their health.

“It’s an always-on health intelligence platform on your finger,” Oura said in the prospectus. “Oura was built to give the body a voice—translating physiological signals across sleep, activity, readiness, stress, heart health, metabolic health, and women’s health into more than 50 metrics and predictive insights.”

Oura (OURA Proposed) is a big deal – no pun intended. Oura’s IPO consists of 50 million shares at a price range of $40.00 to $44.00 to raise $2.1 billion – if priced at the $42.00 mid-point of its range. Of the 50 million shares in the IPO, Oura is offering 13.5 million shares while the selling stockholders are offering 36.5 million shares. Oura will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the selling stockholders’ shares.

Oura intends to use $526.4 million of its net proceeds from the IPO to satisfy its anticipated tax withholding and remittance obligations related to the RSU Net Settlement, the prospectus said.

At mid-point pricing, Oura would have a market cap of $13.48 billion.

Oura, founded in 2013 in Finland, is based in San Francisco.

Oura’s IPO is one of just two sizable deals on this week’s short IPO Calendar. The other deal is Accelevation Holdings (ACCV Proposed), the $660 million IPO for a company that produces power distribution and infrastructure products for AI data centers.

At mid-point pricing, Accelevation would have a market cap of $4.92 billion.

Accelevation is based in Miamisburg, Ohio, about 11 miles southwest of Dayton.

Accelevation’s IPO consists of 30 million shares at a price range of $20.00 to $24.00 to raise $660 million, if priced at the $22.00 mid-point of its range. Of the 30 million shares in Accelevation’s IPO, the company is offering 8.64 million shares and selling stockholders are offering 21.36 million shares.

Accelevation intends to use its proceeds to pay off $180 million of debt, the prospectus said.

Oura & Robinhood

Robinhood is making its debut as an IPO underwriter with Oura’s IPO, according to The Wall Street Journal. Robinhood is the co-manager.

Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Allen & Co. and Jefferies are leading the joint book-running team. BofA Securities, Barclays and Wells Fargo Securities are also joint book-runners in a line-up of 17 investment banks.

As of June 30, 2026, Oura served 5 million paid members worldwide – doubling its paid membership from the year-ago period, according to the prospectus.

Oura is profitable: Net income of $59 million on revenue of $1.43 billion for the 12 months that ended on June 30, 2026.

Accelevation & AI

Accelevation is going public after a year of huge growth driven by the AI data center trend. The company’s revenue surged to $437.5 million in the first six months of 2026 – up from $158.6 million in the year-ago period, according to the prospectus.

Accelevation’s clients include large data center operators, cloud providers and hyperscalers.

Accelevation’s name comes from its goal – “Accelerate. Innovation” – according to the founders’ letter in the prospectus from Michael and Shawn Rubiera. (The Rubieras are married.)

Accelevation is profitable: Net income of $21.75 million on revenue of $447.8 million for the year that ended on Dec. 31, 2025.
