Dr. Jack Kruse presents a sweeping historical narrative that connects organized crime, U.S. intelligence agencies, the Federal Reserve, early computing, cryptography, and the origins of Bitcoin.

Dr. Kurse says that Meyer Lansky was a highly strategic financial mastermind within organized crime who allegedly collaborated with U.S. intelligence during World War II.

Dr. Kruse claims Lansky helped protect U.S. ports, gained leverage over powerful political figures through blackmail, and later became entangled with the emerging military-industrial complex.

Lansky played a behind-the-scenes role in shaping postwar financial systems, intelligence operations, and early computing infrastructure tied to government agencies.

Cryptography & Digital Money

Cryptography —  hiding information by converting it into a secure, unreadable format (ciphertext) that only authorized parties can unlock (decrypt).

Dr. Jake Kruse claims Meyer Lansky (a major organized crime figure in the United States during the mid-20th century and was often referred to as the “Mob’s Accountant” ) sought to build a private financial system outside centralized control and allegedly funded early cryptographic work through David Chaum and DigiCash.

David Chaum is an American cryptographer and computer scientist best known as a pioneer of digital privacy and digital cash. He invented eCash in the 80’s, long before Bitcoin, and was the founder of “DigiCash” in 1989, the electronic money system.

Jack says that Chaum’s open-sourcing of his technology allowed cypherpunks (activists advocating for widespread, proactive use of strong cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies to secure individual liberty against government and corporate surveillance) to build upon it, ultimately leading to Bitcoin.

Guess Who Dr. Jack claims is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Len Sassaman.

Dr. Kruse says that Len Sassaman was Satoshi Nakamoto and that Bitcoin represents the long arc of Lansky’s attempt to outmaneuver centralized financial power.

Dr. Jack says that Bitcoin is fundamentally about time-stamping and energy expenditure, describing it as a “time machine for money” that enforces immutable accounting through physics rather than institutional trust.

Jack Kruse blends documented historical events (organized crime, World War II intelligence cooperation, the Manhattan Project, ARPA/DARPA, DigiCash, cypherpunks) with speculative and controversial claims about secret influence, financial manipulation, and hidden coordination.

Dr. Jack presents Bitcoin as the unintended but ultimate outcome of decades of power struggles between centralized institutions and those attempting to stay ahead of them.
