In this interview with Tucker Carlson, Huckabee stated it would be “fine” if Israel took “all” of the land he believes is biblically granted to the Jewish people, potentially spanning much of the Middle East. He has labeled Gaza a potential “Singapore” turned into “Haiti” by Hamas and has overseen the scaling up of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid sites. A staunch “Christian Zionist,” he has questioned the existence of a Palestinian identity and remains opposed to a two-state solution.
In 2025, he faced criticism for meeting with convicted spy Jonathan Pollard at the U.S. embassy and for visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial. An ordained Southern Baptist minister, he is the father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the current Governor of Arkansas. He is also a musician who plays bass guitar in his band, Capitol Offense.
