OTL: Ravens Finalize Coaching Staff
Welcome Back Ravens Flock. We have another challenge today in our Mock Draft Friday, but before we get to that, we do have some news to talk about. Jesse Minter has completed building his staff.
Ravens announce full coaching staff. Just about all have been previously reported.
Jesse Minter’s father, Rick, will have the title of football analyst.
Only holdovers from John Harbaugh’s staff: Anthony Levine (gets promotion), Randy Brown, Prentice Gill, Tyler Santucci. https://t.co/9yWxDOC84M— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) February 12, 2026
If there were a grade to be given for this staff, it would absolutely be an A+, no questions asked. This is a young, smart group that just seems to have all the tools to be great. We have known most of these names for a while but looking at it in full just puts into perspective how good Minter did. As far as first impressions go, Minter nailed it. A particular fun one for Ravens fans was naming “Co-Cap” Anthony Levine to the position of Special Teams Coordinator.
From Co-Cap to Coordinator!

For this week’s Mock Draft Friday, we have a simple rule: no trades. We have to play the board that we are given.

So we have a first for us in the first round. Peter Woods was a player I really liked before I started my film-watching process, then the tape came on. I’ll be blunt: his 2025 film was pretty disappointing; he had games where he just disappeared and made no impact. After I lowered my expectations a bit and approached with a fresh mindset, I realized the potential animal in the making with Woods. The main factor is his age, as he is just 20 years old. Additionally, Clemson’s coaching is seriously lacking. We have seen other Clemson DL who, like Woods, came in with massive expectations similarly and did not live up to them.
The most impressive thing about Woods is his athleticism:
Watching Byron Murphy and Milton Williams both have a huge impact on this game.
Both had elite college production/athleticism profiles.
Looking for that guy in the 2026 Draft Class?
There is only one and it is Peter Woods. https://t.co/SAaMbu8ezX

Simple and to the point, there just aren’t guys like Woods in the NFL who have the same twitch and size. The Ravens need to take some risk this year in this year’s draft class if they want to return to form.
In the second round, we take Josephs, a player of similar mold. He is a really twitchy athlete on the Edge who just has that juice that is needed to be effective in the NFL:
If you want physical tools and a high-upside pass rusher, Tennessee EDGE Joshua Josephs is a Day 2 guy to monitor.
Tons of length, first-step explosiveness, and knows how to set up blockers. pic.twitter.com/6b7nodhpcR

He doesn’t boast the college production that most Edge players in this range have, but we need to take some risk on athleticism.
Now we get into a guy I really like as an under-the-radar gem. Rutledge has so much power and anchor in his game, and he is the polar opposite of 77, whom he will be replacing.
I think Keylan Rutledge (RG #77) is going to be a fan favourite during the draft process.
Nice blend of athleticism and physicality. Got that nasty in him. pic.twitter.com/1rO88j9oTP

Devin Moore is a guy who isn’t getting a ton of hype in this part of the process because he has been injured a lot. He still has great length and size for a corner, and he is a good athlete, so I see him as a T.J. Tampa or JAD-type talent. Barber is a guy who has above-average athleticism and run blocking tape, but he still needs to work on his pass blocking reps.
Coleman is a guy I just see as a really good number 2 in the NFL. He is a really twitchy athlete who dominated at the Senior Bowl and has great ball skills for a smaller-framed guy. Bentley is another bet on athleticism who could become an Isaiah Likely replacement in the future.
Benny is a really strong inside run defender who can also offer good rush ability as well.
Keone Black is a twitchy running back who can do a lot of things in the receiving game. Payne is a bigger safety who brings the pain, and Gentry is a really unique player because he is not built at all like a Linebacker (really tall and lanky), but could be a fun piece for Minter to use.
This Mock wasn’t as challenging as last week’s. We came away with a ton of athleticism. How would you feel about it?
