The 2025 Chicago Bears season was a season that nobody will forget. In Ben Johnson’s first season as head coach, the Bears became the most exciting team in the NFL.

NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks believes that this era of Chicago Bears football will continue for years to come.

Brooks ranked Chicago sixth among the seven “biggest Super Bowl windows” ahead of 2026.
The analyst named quarterback Caleb Williams as the biggest reason Bears fans should be dreaming of a Super Bowl championship moving forward.
“The spectacular late-game performances of Caleb Williams under Ben Johnson’s tutelage should inspire Bears fans to harbor Super Bowl dreams. Though far from perfect, the former No. 1 overall pick displayed the magic that made scouts sing his praises ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft”
In Williams’ second season as Bears quarterback, he was just short of being the first quarterback in franchise history to throw for 4,000 passing yards.
With the weapons he has and a second year of learning Johnson’s complex offense, the Bears’ future is in perfect hands with Williams at the helm.
Regarding team needs, Chicago still has to address many holes on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive line and some depth in the secondary is a major need heading into free agency.
If the team can add a major playmaker for the pass rush, the team has a shot to make even more damage than they did in 2025.
