Chicago Bears receive backlash for controversial uniform choice against Packers
On Saturday night, the Chicago Bears are looking for their first postseason victory against the Green Bay Packers since Dec. 14, 1941.

The NFC North champion Bears have not played in the postseason since the 2020 season and have not hosted a playoff game since 2018. The last time Chicago won a playoff game was in the 2010 playoffs, with a 35-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The next week, the Packers beat the Bears 21-14 in the NFC championship.
Chicago is going for a bold look against Green Bay on Saturday night. On Saturday afternoon, the Bears posted their uniform combination against the Packers. The hosting Bears will wear blue tops and blue pants.

The Bears have an ugly history against Green Bay with the all-blue look, losing four contests against their NFC North rival since the early 2000s. The Packers most recently beat the Bears 35-14 on Sept. 28, 2017 on “Thursday Night Football” wearing the color rush combination.
Chicago fans on X voiced their worry about the look, fearing the team is inviting a curse against Green Bay in the wild-card round.
“The moment is already big enough. You don’t have to do anything to make it ‘special’,” wrote a fan.
“Are those blue pants?? You have got to be kidding me,” posted another.
“Noooooooooo! Navy on white always,” argued a fan.
“Regular season is over. They have honored Virginias request of no alternates it’s a new season now bring on the possibilities,” wrote another.
“No don’t do it. Smarten up. You still have time to do that before game starts,” suggested a poster.
