3 Chicago Bears earn All-Pro honors for 2025
On Saturday night, the Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round, the Bears’ first appearance in the postseason since the 2020 season.

It will be the first time Chicago hosts a playoff game since losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2018 season.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson elevated the roster to win the NFC North in his first season with the team. On Saturday morning, three of his players earned All-Pro honors for their play in the regular season.
Per the Bears, safety Kevin Byard III and offensive guard Joe Thuney won first-team honors. Right tackle Darnell Wright won second-team honors.
Thuney was traded to the Bears from the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason. This is the third consecutive year he’s earned first-team All-Pro honors.
Byard joined the Bears in free agency in 2024. This is the third time he’s been named a first-team All-Pro and the first time since the 2021 campaign.

The Bears drafted Wright with the No. 10 pick in the 2023 draft. Wright becomes the first Chicago draft pick by general manager to be named an All-Pro.
Byard was tied with Jaquan Brisker for the second-most tackles (93) for the Bears during the regular season. He recorded four tackles for loss, seven interceptions, and eight passes defensed.
Thuney and Wright were key players in helping the offense keep the pocket clean for quarterback Caleb Williams and create a robust running game for running backs D’Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai.
The Bears will need their All-Pro players to step up against Green Bay on Saturday night if they hope to move on to the divisional round.
