Pre-Draft State of the Roster: Offense

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The 2025 NFL Draft starts two weeks from tonight, and the Ravens will have 11 picks to augment their roster. Here’s where the offense stands after free agency and how it will impact the draft, along with a few potential fits at each position.

Quarterback

Likely roster spots: Lamar Jackson, Cooper Rush

Room to add: Before signing Rush, I would have expected the Ravens to prioritize finding a long-term backup in this draft. Now, it’s not an immediate need and a weak class could lead to quarterbacks going earlier than the Ravens value them. They were comfortable enough with Devin Leary as QB3 last year, so I’d be a little surprised if they added another arm.

Potential draftees: Riley Leonard, Brady Cook

Running back

Likely roster spots: Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, Keaton Mitchell, Rasheen Ali

Room to add: In what will become a recurring theme, Ali is the only running back signed past the 2026 season, and I could see him supplanted by a higher-upside rookie from a strong draft class. The other three backs will take virtually all of the Ravens’ backfield snaps in 2025, so I wouldn’t use more than a Day 3 pick.

Potential draftees: Damien Martinez, Ollie Gordon II, Jordan James, Donovan Edwards

Wide Receiver

Likely roster spots: Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, DeAndre Hopkins, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker

Room to add: Again, the Ravens only have Walker signed past 2026, and it will be difficult to extend both Flowers and Bateman. A rookie will mostly play special teams at first, but could be competing for WR2/3 snaps by the end of their first contract. With Hopkins and Wallace under contract in 2025, though, this is another spot for a Day 3 pick.

Potential draftees: Kyle Williams, Tory Horton, Jaylin Lane, Ricky White

Tight End/Fullback

Likely roster spots: Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, Charlie Kolar, Patrick Ricard

Room to add: Barring a trade, there doesn’t seem to be room for another TE. However, a combination of the Ravens’ love for the position and BPA approach could lead to an investment here. That would likely accelerate the potential to trade away Andrews, Likely, or Kolar during training camp. I’m lower on this class than most; it gets very thin after Day 2, and I wouldn’t use a premium pick without a trade lined up.

Potential draftees: Mason Taylor, Mitchell Evans

Offensive Tackle

Likely roster spots: Ronnie Stanley, Roger Rosengarten

Room to add: The Ravens hosted George Fant for a visit this week, and I’d expect them to add him or a similar swing tackle before training camp. It’s never too early to think about a post-Stanley future, either, so a draft pick is definitely in play. The Ravens could target a tackle who could compete for a starting guard as a rookie and/or look for a physical specimen to develop in the long-term.

Potential draftees: Josh Simmons, Charles Grant, Ozzy Trapilo, Aireontae Ersery, Cameron Williams

Interior Offensive Line

Likely roster spots: Tyler Linderbaum, Andrew Vorhees, Daniel Faalele, Ben Cleveland, Nick Samac

Room to add: The Ravens could stand to upgrade at guard in the short term and none of their current ones are signed past 2026, making it clear some investment in the position is needed. There are a number of prospects who could start early on, as well as several tackle converts whose highest NFL ceiling will be at guard. Linderbaum’s fifth-year option could hinder extension negotiations with the Ravens and force them to hedge their bets at center. Looking for guard/center versatility could add a player who could have short- and long-term impact, while a pure center would need to have more upside than Samac.

Potential draftees: Donovan Jackson, Marcus Mbow, Jared Wilson, Tate Ratledge, Emery Jones Jr., Miles Frazier, Willie Lampkin
