OTL: Andrews’ Future Among “Liars’ Luncheon” Topics
Happy Hump Day! As we get closer and closer to the 2025 NFL Draft, the Ravens will be looking to get over the hump (see what I did there?) and win a Super Bowl. On Tuesday, GM Eric DeCosta and Head Coach John Harbaugh discussed how they might do that:

Well, per usual, they didn’t really delve into much detail about that at all. However, there were some interesting points made. The first, and likely most notable, was about Mark Andrews:
Asked whether he expects Mark Andrews to still be with team in 2025, DeCosta said: “I never know what’s going to happen, but I can tell you this, Mark Andrews is a warrior. He’s a great player and we’re in the business of keeping as many great players as we can.”

As it was at the NFL Combine and other points in the offseason, this is a rather unclear stance on Andrews. While the Ravens did let the TE receive his $4M bonus, could it remain possible he gets moved?
I’ve seen more rumors of it lately and do think DeCosta’s words offer little reason to doubt that. We could be in for a blockbuster trade on draft night.

Mark Andrews for Kayvon Thibodeaux and Pick 3, who says no?
Obviously, that’s not happening, but how would you feel about the Giants as a trade partner and Thibodeaux as an EDGE target instead of spending an early pick at the position? I probably would lean against it, but despite Thibodeaux’s early struggles in the league, he’s got real potential.
Either way, I do see the Ravens dipping into the EDGE position. DeCosta highlighted the depth of the class on Tuesday:
Eric DeCosta on how the Ravens evaluate the pass rush class: “I’m a big fan of production. … However, there are some really good players that, for whatever reason, might not be productive.”

On the interior, we’ve heard a lot about how strong the DL class is. It wouldn’t shock me to see the Ravens double-dip at this position, and DeCosta acknowledged that there’s an “opportunity to get better” there:

Talk about not showing your cards – from what I’ve heard, iDL is considered the deepest position in this year’s draft. For DeCosta, potentially to distract others around the league, it’s “fairly deep.”
Across the entire draft, though, it seems the Ravens feel this is a deep class. Who knows if the numbers are true, but DeCosta stated that there’s more “draftable” prospects on Baltimore’s board than there have been in most years:
Ravens have 217 players on their board this year. In some drafts, they’ve had trouble getting to 160 draftable players.
“That means the mid-rounds are going to be really good and also I think undrafted free agency should have a chance to be really, really good for us,” EDC said.

Again, we’ll have to evaluate how big the list looks in their annual “pretend to show our board” gig come draft night.
Still, if we think back to the EDGE position, a few top-end names are being questioned for character concerns. It’ll be interesting what the Ravens do if Mike Green or James Pearce Jr. (or iDL Walter Nolen, for that matter) are available at Pick 27.

Honestly, it’d be hard to be disappointed with this!
