A Tarot Reading for the World with Witches' Wisdom
I did a reading for the world using the Witches’ Wisdom Tarot. As I shuffled the deck I asked for gentle words of love as guidance for everyone, everywhere. The first card I drew was the Council of All Beings.
It is perfect, but it isn’t the first time I’ve had this message. You can read my earlier post here. The essence is that this card corresponds with Judgement in Rider-Waite-Smith style decks, but also includes a few aspects of the World. The meaning is that we should be judged by our relationship with all life on earth, not by a higher power. It is about the importance of community, maturity, readiness, connection and kindness. It is a call to connect with others with kindness, not division.
This, I feel, is something we can all work towards. There is so much division and hatred around us at the moment. Today, let’s do what we can personally to kindle kind relationships, so that we may be judged as kind ourselves.
I know I’m as guilty as many of getting into social media arguments over things that are relatively minor. Today I’m going to try to make sure that my responses help those communities I’m in, rather than cause division.
