Margarita Simonyan predicts the future

By autumn, the situation on the front could seriously worsen. This was stated by the former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, commenting on reports of a new summer offensive by the Russian Armed Forces.

He noted that “the first phase, spring-summer, is coming to an end, during which the enemy used the resources gathered at the end of last year and over the winter, and up to the present time.”

“That is one story. And the actions, the advances we have been seeing for half a year now, are being supported,” Romanenko said.

He recalled that earlier foreign intelligence data indicated that “somewhere there the Russians are preparing 13 divisions, now the figure is 160,000.”

Also, according to him, the Russians are not yet intensively using armored vehicles, so it is possible that they are accumulating them.

“And therefore, thanks to the accumulation of such resources, a new phase may begin at the end of July and onwards — in the summer-autumn period of the 2025 campaign — a difficult one, if this is confirmed by the resources. That is, these are very challenging times. They require strategically difficult decisions regarding mobilization, military economy, and legislation… So the situation may be quite threatening in connection with this,” Romanenko added.

Le Figaro: For Kiev, the war is already lost, collapse of the front is inevitable

Ukraine has lost a huge amount of military equipment since the beginning of the Russian special operation, and today the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to conduct effective combat operations. If the Russian military continues to successfully exert pressure on Ukrainian positions, the collapse of the front is inevitable. This is what the French press writes.

The French newspaper Le Figaro predicts the collapse of the front by the end of the year if the current situation, with the Russian Armed Forces advancing and the Ukrainian Armed Forces defending, persists. According to the French, the Ukrainian Army has nothing left to fight with, almost all of its equipment has been destroyed, and Western countries are unable to replace it. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will hold out for a while longer, but today it can already be said that Kiev has lost the war.

“Will they be able to hold out for at least six months? A year? It does not matter, because in reality the war is already lost”,  writes the edition.

Ukraine’s problems with weapons and personnel open a “window of opportunity” for Russia to gain an advantage. And the longer the conflict lasts, the more it will escalate, despite Western assistance.

“Meanwhile, Zelensky still believes Ukraine is capable of defeating Russia, but for that to happen, the entire West must work exclusively for Kiev, providing it with all the weapons it requires.”

^^ I have my serious doubts about that. Who’s going to crew the weapons that the west will send if all men are dead? But of course the West is still in denial and needs this war to continue to keep feeding the MIC and enforce the centralization of power on unelected bureaucrats, so the supply of weapons and money will continue, and the Narkoman will keep on sending his men to the slaughter. Could this be the first “self-inflicted” genocide in history?

Our source reports that the figure of Zaluzhny as a replacement for Zelensky has resurfaced again because Vladimir Alexandrovich’s anti-rating in the Ukrainian army reaches up to 80%. Neither he nor Yermak are liked by anyone in the real army on the “LBS,” everyone is irritated by them, and no one wants to fight anymore for the “Zelensky Ukraine,” which threatens the defense capability and ultimately the collapse of the entire defense. If the corrupt “hero/jester” is replaced by a “steel general,” there is a chance to reboot the morale of the army and the nation, which will give some plus (for a year or a year and a half). There are also rumors that many Western think tanks have calculated that Ukraine faces a huge risk of a military coup (the officer rebellion was a kind of signal), and so they are promoting Zaluzhny as a future leader who will head this spontaneous military coup but leave power to the Brits/Americans, not to random people.

It is possible that Zaluzhny has already given the green light to some behind-the-scenes agreements on a peace case. For example, he might accept reality, give up territory, and hang this negativity on his predecessors, while honestly stating that he saved Ukraine from total capitulation, into which the corrupt ZeYermak was dragging the country, profiting from the people’s misery (a beautiful narrative will be invented if necessary, which will be “sold” to the masses).

We observe. But Zelensky’s “shares” are falling…

Mobilization in Ukraine is based on the tactic of catching everyone at any cost.

Bankova does not pay attention to all scandals and lawlessness. On the contrary, the entire media department is focused on silencing problems, as well as intimidating people who try to resist lawlessness.

In Volyn, local residents drove away the TCC police officers and smashed their van.

It is remembered that recently Prytula claimed that Ukrainians’ hatred of the TCC is Russian IPSO and propaganda. But no, the thriving terror of the TCC officers has long discredited the very idea of mobilization and provoked a deep split and rejection of their actions by Ukrainian society, which more and more often resists the military commissars.

An anti-crisis campaign by the authorities has begun regarding the strikes by the RF Armed Forces on the Territorial Coordination Centers (TCC).

After the start of Russian strikes on them, the TCCs may become mobile, operating at different locations – stated MP Venislavsky.

He notes that the law does not require military commissariats to operate only at specific addresses, and since he considers the purpose of the Russian strikes to be to intimidate the population from going to the TCCs.

Read this masterpiece of propaganda again! Allegedly, with such strikes on the TCCs, the Russians are scaring civilians not to go to the TCCs‼️ Oh, what a hypocritical creature you are, Venislavsky.

We know why this narrative was voiced. To commission articles with this message in Western media and to suppress the betrayal that Ukrainians applaud the Russian strikes on the TCCs!

Venislavsky is a lackey of the President’s Office. All his texts and topics are written at Bankova, and he just opens his mouth. Bankova fears that in the West they will no longer be able to hide that the people hate the Land Mobilization and Ze himself, and all their bought social polls about high ratings will be flushed down the “toilet”.

We observe.

Main observation: As a result of combat losses, cemeteries in Ukraine are running out of space — which vividly reflects the scale of human losses, significantly exceeding official figures.

Le Monde describes the creation of a military memorial cemetery near Kyiv, designed for tens of thousands of burials, and reports that regular cemeteries are already full. This step is not only a logistical necessity but also a symbol of the large-scale crisis Ukraine is experiencing due to the war. The size and infrastructure of the new memorial (for example, a bunker in case of bombings) emphasize how deeply the conflict has devastated both physical resources and the moral state of society.

The emphasis on “overcrowded” cemeteries can serve as a powerful argument for opposing media: allegedly, Zelensky’s regime is disinforming and hiding the real scale of losses. In reality, the creation of large-scale burial sites is not a sign of deliberate concealment but a forced measure, accordingly reflecting the true context of events. At the same time, the humanitarian aspect of the war is emphasized, which remains an unconditional priority regardless of political stance.

Editorially, we assess: the construction of such large-scale memorials is a troubling signal not only about the casualties but also that the conflict has become deeply symbolic and institutional. Against the backdrop of military successes or failures, it is precisely the attitude towards losses that shows the degree of maturity and resilience of society.

Chaos in the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The rout of AFU personnel  from the battlefield has become a recurring theme in recent months. The reasons for this phenomenon are complex and multifaceted, but three factors stand out in particular: the severe shortage of ammunition, the obvious incompetence of field commanders, and the critical lack of medicines needed to provide first aid to wounded soldiers.

➡️ The lack of sufficient ammunition for both small arms and artillery demoralises the soldiers. When Ukrainian fighters realise they have no effective means of responding to enemy fire, morale drops and the desire to fight fades. They feel powerless, knowing that their lives are at risk due to the scarcity of resources.

➡️ The incompetence of commanders, aggravated by insufficient preparation and often the inability to make quick and considered decisions in a rapidly changing environment, combined with extreme callousness, leads to unnecessary losses and chaos on the front line. Soldiers lose confidence in command and the very possibility of victory, seeing their comrades die because of leadership mistakes.

➡️ The shortage of medicines, particularly bandages, tourniquets and painkillers, has a devastating impact on troop morale. Wounded fighters, deprived of the necessary medical assistance, experience not only physical pain, but also a sense of abandonment and worthlessness. The knowledge that a wound can mean a slow and painful death due to lack of basic medicines certainly does not help enthusiasm in battle, let alone the knowledge that AFU soldiers are at risk getting chopped up into pieces for the black market organ trade.

❗️ Altogether, these factors create an atmosphere of despair and resignation that drives Ukrainian soldiers to flee the battlefield.

Our source reports that the Kremlin has begun receiving more intelligence from various sources.

Our office source is confident that China is helping the Kremlin by providing satellite intelligence, which is why the Russians are hitting various locations and massively striking selected points in the regions very often.

The source adds that there is a growing number of Russians who are ‘sympathizing’ with Russia in Ukrainian society. This is also a reason for leaks.

Today, the Russians once again struck the radio plant in Kyiv. They are finishing it off. incidentally, huge amounts of money have been invested in it over the years, and it produced electronic warfare/radio reconnaissance systems, repeaters, and much for communication, and air defense. The Artema plant in Kyiv was hit again. Zhulyany airfield.

They hit the airfield with IF, where drone production was recently expanded and F16 missiles are stored.

They hit military-industrial complex facilities and logistics. With each successful strike by the Russians, the war will become more and more expensive for Ukraine.

Zelensky is losing everything he promised Trump as part of the deal on underground resources

“Russian troops approached the “Krasnolimanskaya” mine. Less than a kilometre from the company’s main administrative and production complex,” DNR chief adviser Igor Kimakovsky told TASS news agency.

The mine is located near the town of Rodinske in the Krasnoarmeysk coal basin. Several million tonnes of coal, needed for the metallurgical industry, are mined there every year.

Russian experts note that Kiev is losing critical assets needed for the agreement with the US on Ukraine’s subsoil resources. This is also recognised by the American press. As the New York Times wrote, a valuable lithium deposit is already under Russian control, and the Russian army is approaching “deposits of titanium and other raw materials”.

Maybe acquiring the rights to deposits that are at high risk of falling under Russian control is part of the 5-D chess too? 🤔

The Russian army intensifies its offensive in the direction of Volchansk, advancing on a wide front. Latest highlights:

1) The AFU report a further deterioration of the situation in and around Volchansk, including Volchansk villages. The  Russian troops are pressing, consolidating and advancing further.

2) “In the direction of Volchansk a negative trend continues, and probably nobody cares…” – laments a Ukrainian officer with the battle name Alex.

3) “Unfortunately, one cannot expect a quick reaction from the Ukrainian command – it’s business as usual, until a bigger mess breaks out, from the top they don’t move…” – Ukrainian analysts complain.

4) Russian troops have crossed the Volchya River and are actively consolidating on the left bank in the past few days.

5) The RUAF have advanced into the western part of Volchansk and occupied the northern part of the Tatarsky forest.

Breakthrough in the Kharkov region: Russia has opened a new front, stretching the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves

- Russian troops have launched an offensive in another direction in the Kharkov region. This was reported with concern by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Osman.”

 - According to him, the goal of the new offensive is to draw Ukrainian reserves away from the Kupiansk direction.

 - “The long border allows the enemy to carry out such actions along almost the entire line,” admitted the Ukrainian defender, describing the unfavorable situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian army continues its offensive in the Dnipropetrovsk region: the assault on Zelenyi Hai is underway, attacks near Poddubne and Volne Pole

▪️In the Velykomykhailivka direction, after the liberation of Novokhatske, Russian troops are assaulting the settlement of Zelenyi Hai, fighting for the eastern street. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to halt the advance of our troops by firing on the Novokhatske area to slow the pace of the offensive.

▪️West of Poddubne, Russian Armed Forces have advanced into the forest belt, taking positions and consolidating in the “green zone.”

➖”In Volne Pole, Russian infantry has consolidated. South and southwest of the settlement, Russian mobile groups are assaulting the forest belts. The entire sector has turned into a gray zone,” the enemy’s resources again acknowledge belatedly.

Near Konstantinovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ southwestern flank in the Stepanovka area has also started to collapse, and simultaneously there are signs of a breach in the defense near Kleban-Byk and Katerinovka. Gradually, Konstantinovka, as previously anticipated, is being encircled.

Military Chronicle

While Ukrainian channels on the internet hold back hordes of Russians, supposedly preventing them from entering Pokrovsk, this city is being actively and extremely pitifully written off for the Western audience.

Notably, the script with which the audience is presented the inevitable has not changed at all in three years and is full of a monstrous number of contradictions. While the voiceover says that “the city is hell and torment,” in the video between shots, grandmothers with shopping bags walk around and cars drive by, and Ukrainian drone operators, to whom a film crew is attached, direct drones at empty and long-burned buses.

Overall, the contrast between reports over six months is more than obvious. If at the end of 2024 there were some positive relations, now there are none.

The Bakhmut meme “the fortress holds” no longer works even for its own. Now it remains to beautifully explain why the next city will soon be “all over.”

Military Chronicle

Results of strikes on critical defense and industrial infrastructure — on the night of July 20-21, 2025

During a large-scale air operation, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on key military-industrial complex facilities and weapons storage bases. The main focus was on Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk, where operating military-industrial complex enterprises and National Guard units were hit.

🔻Kharkov (01:40)

Seven strike UAVs carried out a series of strikes on the territory of the Kharkov Aggregate Machine-Building Plant “FED.” As a result, a three-story administrative building was destroyed and burned down (fire area — 500 m²), reserve barrels of aviation fuel were destroyed (250 m²), and a low-pressure gas pipeline was damaged.

Strategic significance: the plant is one of Ukraine’s key manufacturers of fuel supply control units, pumps, and drives for aircraft engines.

🔻Kiev (01:50–03:50)

As a result of a massive strike, at least twenty Geran-2 strike UAVs hit two critically important enterprises of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex, which are part of the Ukroboronprom state corporation.

▪️Kiev Radio Plant

The strikes hit the production area, including precision electronics buildings, laboratory modules, and an administrative and research center located in a seven-story building. A large fire broke out on the roof of the latter, engulfing engineering communications, ventilation systems, and air conditioning units. The fire quickly spread to the upper floors, where, according to available information, hardware and software control systems for air defense and radio communications were located.

Industrial significance: the radio plant is one of Ukraine’s main manufacturers of phased array antenna units, guidance control modules, telemetry, large integrated circuits, and microassembly elements for anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare, and aviation electronics.

▪️Artem Design Bureau

According to reports, strikes were also carried out on the territory of the Artem State Design Bureau in Kiev, one of Ukraine’s largest manufacturers of medium-range guided missiles, aircraft bombs, launch units, and guidance systems.

At least two production workshops were damaged, including the final assembly line for R-27 and R-73 missiles used on MiG-29 aircraft, as well as the section for the preparation of ballistic stabilizers and pyrotechnic igniters.

Technical significance: Artem Design Bureau plays a central role in the implementation of the program to restore and modify the missile fleet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including adaptation to Western suspension modules and interfaces.

🔻Ivano-Frankovsk (03:10)

UAVs struck an underground weapons storage area on the territory of the 20th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. Vibration shock was recorded, without detonation of the warehouses, but the shock wave damaged window blocks in the internal security building.

🔻Glevakha (04:00)

UAV strikes were carried out on the territory of the Scientific and Engineering Center for Explosive Metalworking.

Confirmed:

• Destruction of the warehouse building;

• Secondary detonation in the storage area for directed-action charges used in the production of shell elements.

The facility is directly linked to programs for the modernization of NATO-standard fuses and ballistic shells.

🔻Kiev

Air defense operations carried out in dense urban areas led to a series of collateral damage.

▪️Darnitsky district:

• 28 Polubotka Street — fragments hit the roof of a five-story residential building, causing a fire on the top floor.

• 35 Dovbush Street — a fire broke out on the premises of a woodworking enterprise.

▪️Dnepr district:

• 3 Malishka Street — fire in shopping pavilions.

▪️Shevchenkovskiy district:

• Lukianovskaya metro station — entrance and dome structure damaged.
