The Democrats Are Stuck on Stupid

Most Democrats don’t necessarily believe in transgenderism, homosexual marriage, LGBTQ+++, DEI, BLM, Antifa, wokeism, and unrestricted abortion. They just believe Americans do. At least they did at one time. I’m not even sure they believe in open borders. That was a result, not a cause. It was the result of losing Democrat voters faster than a rat up a drainpipe.

The Dems have some values. It’s just limited to two…power and holding on to it. And that’s the grand total of their belief system. Listen to James Carville. He says the Dems have lost their way. “The purpose of the Democrat Party is to win elections.” The party does not aim to make the country a better place, more secure, or with more opportunities. It’s all about them, isn’t it?

It is much worse than you think. Back in the 1960s, the Democrats knew early on that there was a trend in America toward the Left. The riots, demonstrations, and bombings were evidence of this trend. The young were not completely to blame. The Johnson government got us into a war…a big one. Over 9 million personnel served in Vietnam. We lost over 58,000 lives and endless wounded, and to this day, we still don’t know why.

Lyndon Johnson broke a cardinal economic rule. You can’t have both guns and butter. Johnson wanted war AND massive social programs.

The Democrats wanted to lead this leftist trend, nurture its potential, support it, and claim it. The media, education, and the entertainment industry also took hold of it. I recall Johnny Carson appearing on stage with a Nehru suit and rock bands taking over TV variety shows and situation comedies. There was a different rock band on Ed Sullivan every week. It was a time when the greatest generation was completely dominated by the baby boomers, and spoiled rotten they were. The kids looked like they were having fun, and the older folks wanted some of it.  You couldn’t blame them; they had a hard life.

Many of these kids rebelled and rebelled hard…alcohol and lots of pot. Like her family, a young Hillary Clinton was a Republican. She even supported Barry Goldwater in 1964. When the Vietnam War showed no sign of either letting up or success, she became tied to the then anti-war party, the Democrat Party. Times have changed.

The Democrats needed allies for their anti-war stance. Not being very choosy or wise, they aligned with socialists, communists, flag burners, deranged college professors, potheads, you name it. These are the people who have taken over the party. Salon magazine actually believes that the majority of Americans think that Donald Trump is a dictator. They live in an alternate universe.

There are left-wing ‘thinkers’ that believe the Dems are losing because they demanded too much too soon. They should let Americans accept the changes more gradually. Eventually, they believe, we will accept homosexual marriage, kids routinely being mutilated with transgender surgery, children being taught sex by drag queens, naked people in gay parades, babies being aborted right before birth or even killed after, and accepting millions of illegal immigrants without knowing who they are. They even believe we will eventually give up on God. Government will become our god, socialism will eventually become communism or, more likely, fascism, and all will be happy forever.

The liberal progressives are convinced they are ‘good people.’ Good because they embrace everyone: the ‘oppressed’, the downtrodden, and the morally deranged. They are the ultimate live and let live, unless you are conservative. Hamas is not oppressed; they are merely savages, using and killing their people for the benefit of good press. If the liberals ever admit they are savages, what does that make them?

God is not looking for good people, he’s looking for repentant people.

Only a political party lacking moral certainty would shift from one trendy issue to another in search of a diluted moral position that is acceptable to as many people as possible. Americans are looking for, hungry for, a rock they can depend on, not mush. Charlie Kirk reminded us where we can discover the Rock of Ages. How is it possible that Bill Clinton signed the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 and then later defended homosexual marriage? Can the most basic of values be that brittle in him to break so easily?

But it doesn’t stop there. The Democrats think they have an in with the designers of the New World Order. They know the oligarchs are sitting at a large table, like in a James Bond movie, planning, scheming, and working to end nationhood as we know it…to end worship in God. They want a seat at that table. It’s power they want.

The Democrats are stuck on stupid because they have chosen the wrong team, the radical Left. They are a team that cannot win unless the country goes through a total metamorphosis. The Dems are frustrated. They’re getting more violent than they have in the past. So much so, one would think they want to instigate a civil war. It wouldn’t be the first time.

They cannot go to the center because they will lose the Left. They can’t go to the Right because the Republicans already own it. The Democrats are stuck because they have no values, no convictions, and no principles, just a power complex. Americans will not put up with it much longer.
