Super Full Moon Eclipse

In the morning of January 31, 2018 we will be blessed with a Super (closer to earth than usual) Blue (auspicious second moon of a calendar month) Full Moon (a time of release) in the sign of Leo heavily influenced by Cancer (because of our constantly shifting universe) and Eclipsed (amplified) by the Sun in Aquarius. This is bringing us one hyped up potent lunation!

Leo is strong & confident, a leader overflowing with charisma, charm & creativity. This yang sign of the lion shows us how to proudly own, clearly declare, & warmly embrace as we act.

Cancer is drenched in mystic meaning, awash in connectivity & a seeker of communion. The yin sign of the crab shows us how to find security, how to figure things out, & how to feel.

Aquarius offers interesting perspectives, promotes change & innovation, relishes in radicle discovery & nebulous in-betweens. We are encouraged to open doors of perception & enticed to be brazen in our uniqueness by this forward thinking sign.

An eclipse magnifies the energy of release already inherent in a Full Moon & offers support for us to better understand what needs to be let go. This releasing could manifest in our relationships, in our work, in our environment, in our process, &or in our body. We are challenged to let go of assumptions, expectations, & should’s. This is go with the flow time!

This particular eclipse is focused on embracing our authentic selves, highlighting the way we are in service to & in support of our communities, & deepening our connection to the divine. It’s a strong intersectionally feminist moon asking that we pay attention to how we treat, love, & support ourselves & each other. The energies have been building & we have all felt the shift that is happening as we collectively unfold into a new era. Transformation is tough! We are supported though with this lunation as a resounding clarion call: now is the time of coming together, now we nurture one another, now we speak out & most importantly now we listen to each other. There is room enough for all to thrive.

 Please keep in mind that as our Moon is shadowed by our planet feelings of lack can be illuminated & areas of tension brought to the surface. With the emotionally charged Cancer, volatile Leo, & intense shedding eclipse energies flowing around us for the next few months it will be especially important to maintain our equilibrium. Breathe, take a moment (or six) before responding, stay grounded in your knowing while open to growing, & don’t take anything personally. It may not always look like it but we are all doing our best.
