Dalit Issues Take Center Stage At Mala Mahanadu Kadapa Meeting

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh: At the state office of Rashtra Mala Mahanadu (Ramoji Group) in Kadapa town, leaders strongly criticized the coalition government for neglecting Dalit communities, failing to deliver on pre-poll promises, and ignoring basic civic and educational needs in marginalized areas.

• State President slams government over unfulfilled promises

State President Tallapaka Vinod Kumar accused the coalition government of failing to provide incentives and subsidy loans to Dalits. He said the promises made before the elections remain unfulfilled, and stressed that urgent measures are needed for the economic development of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).

• Poor sanitation and infrastructure in Dalit localities

Vinod Kumar also expressed concern over poor municipal maintenance in Dalitwada of Kadapa town, where dirty drains and stagnant water continue to affect residents. He said civic officials are not performing their duties effectively, worsening the living conditions of Dalit families.

• Gurukul schools lack proper facilities

Highlighting the plight of students in government residential schools, Vinod Kumar noted that 70 to 80 percent of Gurukul school students come from weaker Dalit sections. Yet, the schools lack adequate accommodation and infrastructure. He added that even after multiple complaints to the DCO, no corrective action has been taken.

• Talari Vijay Kumar elected as Youth Vice President

During the same meeting, Talari Vijay Kumar was elected as the Kadapa District Youth Vice President of Rashtra Mala Mahanadu. The appointment was made under the leadership of State President Tallapaka Vinod Kumar.

• New leader pledges to work for Dalit youth

Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him by the state leadership, Talari Vijay Kumar said he will work tirelessly for the development, rights, and empowerment of Dalit youth in the district.

State Mala Mahanadu Social Media President Akumalla Pranay Kumar, State Coordinator Mekala Obulesu, State General Secretary Pendli Katla Sagar, State Joint Secretary Ulli Kiran, District President Sangati Pullaiah, District Youth President Akki Dasari Rama Rao, and other leaders were present and extended their support to the new office-bearer.
