I pitched a stock (previously talked about here) that didn’t fit into all the criteria that I usually stress when selecting microcap stocks to include in my coverage universe, but certainly appealed to me on a “special situations” level.

On August 15, 2024, at the The 4th Annual CEO Networking Event in Chicago, Illinois, Richard Mills (CEO) and William Logan (CFO) of Creative Realities, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREX) participated in a fireside chat.
In this interview, the company’s recent performance and its hardware vs. software elements of the business were discussed. Creative Realities specializes in digital media solutions, particularly software that manages content on digital screens across various industries. The company reported strong second-quarter results with $13.1 million in revenue and positive adjusted EBITDA. They discussed the growth of their SaaS revenue, aiming to reach $20 million by the end of the year, and highlighted their significant market position, managing over 375,000 devices globally.
