In recent days, the world witnessed a historic development — the signing of the Trump Declaration for Enduring Peace and Prosperity on October 13, 2025. This multi-nation agreement brings Israel, Hamas, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey together in a fragile but hopeful ceasefire arrangement. Many see this as a diplomatic triumph; others, especially students of Bible prophecy, view it through a deeper spiritual lens.

A Temporary Peace in a Troubled Land

The Declaration outlines a 20-point framework: the release of hostages, phased Israeli withdrawals from Gaza, humanitarian rebuilding, and international cooperation. These are significant steps after years of conflict. Yet, Scripture tells us to watch for a particular kind of peace — one that appears secure but will not last.

Daniel 9:27 (KJV) prophesies:

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”

This verse speaks of a seven-year covenant — a peace agreement involving Israel and “many” nations, which will ultimately be broken halfway through (after 3½ years). This breach will mark the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

The Apostle Paul warned in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV):

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…”

So, the next logical step could be:

• The formal expansion of this peace framework to include more nations, possibly under a new or reorganized international authority.
• A seven-year framework for peace, rebuilding, and shared governance — perhaps tied to regional security or economic rebuilding in the Middle East.

This could easily be presented to the world as the “final solution” to the centuries-long Middle East conflict.

2. The Rise of a Charismatic Global Leader

From this peace process will likely emerge a powerful figure who brokers or enforces the final version of the covenant — the one Daniel and Revelation describe as the Antichrist.

He will appear as a man of peace, a problem-solver, admired for bringing order and stability to chaos. But as 2 Thessalonians 2:4 (KJV) warns:

“Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God… so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

At first, he will appear to be the savior of nations — but midway through the 7-year period, his true nature will be revealed.

3. The Rebuilding of the Jewish Temple

Daniel says that in the midst of the week the Antichrist will “cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.”

That means a functioning temple and sacrificial system must exist again in Jerusalem.

So, after peace is established, we can expect:

• The push to rebuild the Third Temple on or near the Temple Mount.
• Renewed Jewish worship practices.
• Global fascination and controversy surrounding this development.

This will likely happen during the first 3½ years of the seven-year peace period.

4. The Midpoint Betrayal — The Abomination of Desolation

Three and a half years into the peace covenant, the Antichrist will break the agreement, enter the temple, and declare himself to be God.
Jesus confirmed this prophecy in Matthew 24:15 (KJV):

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place…”

This act marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation, the most intense time of suffering the world will ever know.

5. Rapture of The Church

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

6. The Great Tribulation (Final 3½ Years)

• Global persecution of believers and Jews.
• Economic and political control through the Beast system and mark of the beast (Revelation 13).
• Natural and supernatural judgments poured out upon the earth.
• The rise of a one-world government and religion under Satan’s influence.

This will be a time of both great deception and great revival — as multitudes finally turn to Christ, realizing the truth.

7. The Return of Jesus Christ

At the end of the 7-year period, Jesus will return in glory — not as a Lamb, but as the Lion of Judah, to destroy the armies of the Antichrist and establish His millennial kingdom.

Revelation 19:11 (KJV) declares:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True…”

Final Thoughts

We may now be standing at the very threshold of this prophetic timeline.
The peace declaration of 2025 could be the foundation of the covenant Daniel foresaw — the first link in a chain of events that will lead to the rise of the Antichrist, the rebuilding of the Temple, and ultimately, the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
