Details of the Events Happening in the 7-Year Tribulation Period and The Rapture: When will It Happen? New Information to Share.

If you’ve been watching the world lately, you know something big is coming.

Global unrest. Religious compromise. Talks of peace. An Upcoming False Prophet. Digital currency. A “new world order” and a One World Religion on the horizon.

If we’re nearing the prophesied 7-year Tribulation, the question every believer should be asking is:
When will the rapture happen?

Before answering this question, let’s take a step back and ask, “Why is God rapturing His church?” What is THE reason that God is coming for His people in the last days. We would have to conclude that He is coming to gather His people to “Protect them” from something… Do you agree?

The end times are dangerous for those people who believe and follow Jesus Christ. Christian communities continue to face severe persecution and violence in various parts of the world.

According to Open Doors’ 2025 World Watch List, over 4,476 Christians were killed for their faith between October 2023 and September 2024, with Nigeria accounting for the majority of these deaths. Argument could be made that the “church” is in danger right now, due to their Christian beliefs.

So, let’s take a deep dive right now and learn more about the 7-year tribulation period to see if we can’t flush out any clues of danger to the followers of Jesus Christ.

When we think of the end times, we have a tendency to put all of the events together, thinking that they all happen around the same time. But let’s break it down and see if this is the case.

We know that the False Prophet and the Antichrist appear on the world stage at approximately the same time. This all begins with the signing of the 7-year peace agreement with Israel.

But, did you know that the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation period are fairly peaceful? The antichrist comes bringing Peace to the world. His agreements are with many, restoring peace to Israel and its surrounding countries. One of the lures about him will be the positive aspect of fixing a broken middle east and restoring peace. We will see this leader as “awesome” due to the fact that he is bringing a peace that has not happened in this region for hundreds of years.

So, in relation to God rescuing His people from the dangers of persecution on a global scale, there really isn’t much of a need to Rapture them through the first 3.5 years of the tribulation. Do you see this?

Additionally, we tend to place the “Mark of the Beast” occurring at the same time of the One World religion, yet that assumption is not correct at all.

At the start of the tribulation period, the antichrist and the false prophet will be setting up a One World Government, in harmony with a new One World Religion. This One World Religion is both telling and the first step in gathering religions throughout the world in preparation for the deception that is to come from the Antichrist. Let’s go to the scriptures for additional information about this.

Revelation 17 – The Great Whore (Religious Babylon)

Revelation 17:1-5 (KJV)

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

Key Interpretations (Based on KJV):

• The Woman (Mystery Babylon): Many scholars believe this woman represents a false, apostate religious system that dominates the world during the first half of the Tribulation.
• Sitteth upon many waters (v.1): Interpreted as worldwide influence (see v.15—“The waters… are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues”).
• Rides the Beast (v.3): This indicates that the religious system is supported by and also influences the Antichrist’s political system, at least initially.
• Fornication with Kings (v.2): Spiritual unfaithfulness—alliances between false religion and world governments.

Something very telling to me personally is “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand …” To me, this describes a current religion, but that is my own interpretation, and I’ll leave that up to you to do your own research.

These are the things happening in the first 3.5 years of the tribulation. But, did you know that Something very dramatic soon happens to the One World religion that has just been set up? Check this out.

The Antichrist will go into the new temple in Israel and defile it. This is a key prophetic event that takes place at the midpoint of the 7-year Tribulation (3.5 years in). The King James Version (KJV) doesn’t use the word “Antichrist” in these specific passages, but it clearly describes a man of sin or the beast who will enter the temple of God and commit what Jesus called the “abomination of desolation.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 (KJV)

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

This is a direct reference to the Antichrist taking a seat in a rebuilt Jewish temple and claiming to be God—a massive act of blasphemy and spiritual defilement.

Daniel 9:27 (KJV)

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,
even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

“One week” = 7 years. In the middle of the week (3.5 years in), he stops temple sacrifices and commits the abomination of desolation.

During this same time, the antichrist is killed, and he will be revived as Satan himself, (have you ever been taught this?) Here are those teachings:

According to many interpretations of Bible prophecy—especially when drawing from the King James Version (KJV)—the midpoint of the Tribulation (3.5 years in) is widely believed to be when the Antichrist is slain and miraculously revived, at which point Satan fully empowers or possesses him.

Here’s how this understanding is pieced together:

Revelation 13:3 (KJV)

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed:
and all the world wondered after the beast.”

This refers to the beast (Antichrist) suffering a mortal wound—either a literal death or something appearing as death—and then miraculously recovering, causing the world to marvel and follow him.

Revelation 13:14 (KJV)

“…saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast,
which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

The wound is described as being “by a sword”, indicating a violent attack or assassination attempt, and yet he lives, pointing to a supernatural resurrection.

Revelation 13:2 (KJV)

“…and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

The dragon = Satan (Revelation 12:9). After the Antichrist’s resurrection, Satan gives him power, throne, and authority—signifying a satanic indwelling or total control.

When the antichrist is killed, and Satan replaces him he actually declares that he is god while inside the temple (2 Thessalonians 2:4), and DEMANDS worldwide worship (Revelation 13:15). This is when the world is truly in danger.

Final 3.5 Years Great Tribulation begins—worldwide tyranny and persecution

It gets even worse. Satan will then go after the new One World Religion that has been created, and destroys it. He doesn’t want anyone worshiping anything other than HIM!

Revelation 17:16-17 (KJV)

“And the ten horns… shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate… For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will…”

This implies that the Antichrist and his ten kings will turn against the religious system midway through the Tribulation (around the 3.5-year mark), likely when the Antichrist declares himself to be God and demands worship (see 2 Thessalonians 2:4).

He will then implement the “Mark of the Beast” and make it mandatory

Revelation 13:16–17 (KJV):

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

This passage refers to a future time during the Tribulation when a powerful world system—represented by the “beast”—will enforce a mark of allegiance. Without this mark, people will be economically excluded: unable to “buy or sell.”

Many interpret this as a literal mark that signifies loyalty to the Antichrist and his system, in contrast to loyalty to Jesus Christ. It’s a warning to believers to resist conforming to the corrupt world system, even if it leads to persecution or death.

So, it is very clear that midway through the tribulation period, 3.5 years, everyone upon the earth will be at incredible risk of danger. Take the mark and you will receive the “Bowls of Wrath” that God has planned to pour out onto the inhabitants of the earth 3.5 years into the tribulation. Refuse the mark, and be threatened with your very own life.

I think that a Rapture right here would be excellent timing and satisfy Gods intent of a rescue from the incredible dangers that are coming in with full force.

Knowing all of those things that I have explained, let’s try to determine the timing of the rapture in this 7-year Tribulation period using the scriptures.

What scriptures do we have that give us information about the rapture?

Let’s start with this powerful moment described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (KJV):

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up… to meet the Lord in the air.”

This moment is not the Second Coming (when Jesus touches down on the Mount of Olives), but a gathering of the Church to meet Christ in the clouds. It’s our rescue. Our reunion. Our hope.

It doesn’t give us any information regarding timing, so let’s keep digging.

Option 1: Pre-Tribulation Rapture

“Before the storm”

This is the most widely taught view in modern churches—that Jesus will rapture believers before the 7-year Tribulation begins.

One of the key verses is Revelation 3:10, where Jesus tells the faithful:

“I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world…”

Believers in this view say, “Why would God allow His bride to suffer wrath?” They also point out that after Revelation chapter 3, the Church isn’t mentioned again until Christ returns with His saints (Revelation 19).

According to this view:

• The Antichrist rises after the Church is gone.
• The first seal (Revelation 6:1–2) begins the Tribulation.
• The Church watches from heaven.

Interesting, yet still quite vague regarding timing. One key point here, this scripture DOES indicate that God will keep us the hour of temptation. This demonstrates that He will “KEEP US” prior to the dangers that will happen to during the Tribulation period. What about the other two options?

Option 2: Mid-Tribulation Rapture

“Before things get truly awful”

This view says we’re raptured 3.5 years into the Tribulation—right before the Antichrist shows his true colors and demands worship by taking the mark of the beast.

Here’s the timeline:

In Daniel 9:27, the Antichrist confirms a 7-year covenant. But halfway through, he breaks it and desecrates the temple:

“In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice… to cease.”

This “midpoint” is echoed in Revelation 13, when the Antichrist demands worship, sets up the image of the beast, and unleashes fury. Some believers think that’s the moment God removes His people—at the sound of the “last trumpet”:

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump…”
(1 Corinthians 15:52)

According to this view:

• The first 3.5 years are peaceful (false peace).
• Believers endure hardship but not full wrath.
• The rapture happens before the “Great Tribulation” (the second half).

To me, I tend to lean toward this time period over the pretribulation rapture, simply because this is when things get very dangerous for the church.

Option 3: Post-Tribulation Rapture

“Through the fire, into glory”

Then there’s the third view: We go through all 7 years, enduring persecution and trials, until Jesus comes in power and glory.

This is supported by Matthew 24:29–31 (KJV):

“Immediately after the tribulation… shall appear the sign of the Son of man… and he shall send his angels… and they shall gather together his elect…”

That sounds like the rapture—and Jesus says it’s after the tribulation, at the end of the 7 years.

Revelation 7 also shows a massive group in heaven:

“These are they which came out of great tribulation…”
(Revelation 7:14)

Believers in this view say God will give us strength to endure, just like He did with Noah (through the flood) or the Israelites (through Egypt).

According to this view:

• The Church will be tested and purified.
• The rapture is part of the Second Coming.
• Believers will shine as overcomers.

So… Which of the timing options are correct? What do you think? The Post-Tribulation could very well be the timing of the Rapture.

I have prayed for understanding about the timing of the rapture perhaps more that any other topic that I have studied regarding end times. The whisperings and feelings that I receive after praying make the Mid-Tribulation rapture seem to fit the best. But I also have had another very distinct thought that has come to me frequently.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
— Matthew 24:36, KJV

If you follow my writings, I think that we can have a pretty good idea when Christ is coming back for His second Coming, 2032.

(Christ’s death and resurrection occurred at 32 AD. Adding 2,000 years to this give us 2032. Refer to my other writings about this for further study and insight. Another supporting fact that cannot be disputed is 7 years after the Tribulation period starts, with the beginning of the 7-year peace agreement for Israel, will conclude time upon the earth for all mankind. If this signing occurs this year, 2025, we can know that 2032 is indeed the year that Jesus Comes back to the earth to finalize his battle with evil, and start the 1000-year Millennial reign.)

But the rapture seems to be one that we JUST don’t know the timing of. Back to my prayers for a moment, I have felt that there is a purpose that God does not want us to know this for very good reason. So, after many quiet moments in prayer and listening, I have concluded that this is His reasoning for the “thief in the night” timing.

Those last 3.5 years are going to be challenging for all of us. Knowing what you know now, what is your priority as it relates to God? Mine is that I am doing ALL that I can to increase my faith in Him, as well as deepening my Trust in Him and His abilities. Would this be the case if you knew that you were going to be raptured before the trouble even starts? NO, it would not be the same. My focus is to not depend upon a rescue of the rapture, but to trust God enough to know that He will see me through to the very end, regardless of how bad things seem to get.

I know that God has the ability to “Part the Red-Sea” as well as keep me unharmed in a “Lions Den.” I have that trust. I also know that if I am one who will lose my life for refusing the mark, again I trust that He will emotionally help me through the trauma of that experience, as if it were not happening at all. And then, the turning of the page into a glorious life living with Jesus Christ in a wonderful environment.

This is a time for me to do as I have been called to do in these last days. Build my Faith in Him, Trust Him, Believe in the fact that He is my Father, and desires to watch over His children. As I strengthen these qualities, I will be fully prepared to put on this armor of God, and defend Good over evil.

I have shared another thought with this group before. I have got to the point in my studies where I have actually asked God to allow me to stay the entire 7 years on the earth. I want to witness all of these events, and there is a small part of me that wants to fight evil.

But my answer to this request has always been the same: He doesn’t need me to fight this battle, as He has enough strength to wipe out evil with a single breath.

He needs me to teach about the end times which is what I am trying to do. So, let’s you and me increase our faith and trust, and…

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
(Matthew 24:44, KJV)

If you are at a point in your life where you are afraid, the solution is simple. Using just our own abilities, we have need to fear, but as we yolk up to the Savior, He will exceed our abilities to the full measure of what is needed, which allows there to be no fear in our lives. Think of it that way…If you have fear, you are not strong enough in the trust that you have. Work on trusting God. Ask Him through prayer to help you trust in Him, and that He will help you have the necessary faith to do so. In doing this, He will make your fear subside, to that I can testify.
