It’s Official – The White Smoke Announces the Selection of a New Pope. Is it “Peter the Roman”?

In a surprising twist from the “Prophecy of the Popes,” Peter the Roman was not selected as the new Pope. Rather, Robert Prevost “Pope Leo XIV” becomes the first American Pope in the church’s history.

Let’s probe further into Leo XIV to see if there is anything telling about his history with the church.

Choosing the name Leo XIV, the new pope draws inspiration from Pope Leo XIII, known for his advocacy of workers’ rights and the Church’s engagement with modern social issues. This choice suggests a continuity of progressive thought, emphasizing social justice, environmental stewardship, and a commitment to addressing contemporary challenges facing the Church and the world.

A Vision for a Global Church

Pope Leo XIV’s election comes at a time when the Catholic Church faces numerous challenges, including declining attendance in Europe, financial instability, and the need for continued reform in the wake of abuse scandals. His background as a missionary and his experience in diverse cultural contexts position him to address these issues with a global perspective.

What Does This Mean for End-Times Watchers?

One thing that I have learned in my end-times studies is that all prophecy will be fulfilled the way that it is intended. Sometimes we might think that we might know how things will play out, but the interpretation from mankind has potential for error.

The thing that is most important now, and throughout the end times, is to let things play out, and make your determination on the actual facts that we see before us.

When the False Prophet comes onto the world scene, we know that he will be associated with these facts:

False Prophet’s “Responsibilities” (Deceptions):

• Leads global religious worship through the One World Religion, and the Antichrist. (Happens NOW, Pre-Tribulation)
• Performs miracles to deceive humanity.
• Creates and animates the image of the beast.
• Enforces the Mark of the Beast system, (happens at Mid-Tribulation)
• Directs the spiritual deception of the nations.
• Ultimately receives God’s judgment and eternal damnation.

So, we will let the facts play out. We are on high alert right now because the False Prophet as well as the Antichrist will be taking the world stage. Their very own actions will identify them, and it is not necessary for us to identify them without actually seeing their actions for ourselves.

And the Antichrist? What should we watch for?

1. Breaks a Peace Covenant – Makes a 7-year agreement, then breaks it halfway through (Daniel 9:27). (This will be the first identifying factor).
2. Denies Jesus Christ – Rejects that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 2:22).
3. Blasphemes God – Speaks arrogantly and against God and heaven (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5-6).
4. Claims to Be God – Exalts himself above all that is called God and demands worship (2 Thessalonians 2:4). (Happens Mid-Tribulation).
5. Persecutes Believers – Wages war against the saints and overcomes them (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:7).
6. Performs False Miracles – Uses satanic power to deceive people with signs and wonders (2 Thessalonians 2:9; Revelation 13:13).
7. Rules the World – Gains global political and religious authority (Revelation 13:7-8).
8. Enforces the Mark of the Beast – Requires a mark to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-17).
9. Is Destroyed by Jesus – Christ returns and casts him into the lake of fire (2 Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 19:20).

He will also destroy the One World Religion that has been established and demand worship from everyone. (This happens Mid-Tribulation).

My excitement can not be contained at this moment. I know that we are knocking on the door of identifying the False Prophet and the Antichrist. I feel strongly that this will happen before the end of 2025.

Remember, President Trump is on his way to meet with some nations in the Middle East. We will be watching this to see if additional details immerge regarding the “Abraham Accord” or the signing of the 7-year peace agreement with Israel.

It is an AWESOME time to be alive in Christ. Do you realize that we are just years away from meeting Him in person, and spending ALL of eternity with Him in a Glorious place that He has prepared for us. Can you just imaging exploring His new “earth” that He has created for us, and the adventures that we will discover?

Heaven is NOT church all day long. Heaven is being associated with incredible neighbors who are loving, peaceful, kind, and “Christ-like.” Our leader will be Jesus Christ. And, just as we have discovered this earth, and found AVENTURES here on an earth that God has created, we too will have that same opportunity in discovering the beauties, and thrilling things to do on the next “earth” that He has created for us.

Logically, when we remember that Heaven will be far better than earth, we have to assume that even our JOY and Happiness will indeed be better as well. Be excited for your new world, and the life that you will have there. Don’t associate it with the negativity of DEATH, for the event of death is what opens up our new eternal live of SHEER BLISS, and HAPPINESS like you have never experienced before.

Keep your eye on the prize. This is incredibly important for us to do, as we navigate our final years upon planet earth.
