Theology and Politics from a Conservative, Biblical Perspective

Several things are important about today’s date, October 7, 2025. First, it is the two-year anniversary for the horrible Hamas terrorist invasion of Israel and massacre of innocent Jewish people enjoying the music at a music festival, who were completely unarmed. Second, today is the revised day that the Rapture is supposed to occur, after the first date setting came and went without incident.

Hamas Terrorism
It is clear to thinking people that Hamas is a terrorist organization and their entire focus is on destroying the nation of Israel and killing as many Jewish people as possible. In spite of this obvious mindset and outlook, much of the world wants to reward Hamas with a “two-state” solution to the ongoing atrocities in the Middle East.

This is like saying that a person or group of people who continue to invade your home and do damage to it and you should be rewarded by giving them your home. It’s ludicrous but this is where we have arrived to in today’s politically charged demonic climate. It’s unconscionable and those who can supposedly critically think cannot wrap their brains around the constant hatred fomented by Hamas and those who support them.

Honestly, we thought we’d never see another day of “Hitler-esque” hatred leading to mass murder except we know what the Bible states. It clearly details throughout that at the end of the current age, Israel will become a stone of stumbling for much of the world.

The tragedy is seeing just how many people support Hamas and fully believe that Israel is the aggressor, that Hamas is simply the defenders of virtue and if Israel would stop its “genocide” against Hamas, all would be well. They clearly forget or refuse to see that Hamas went into Israel with the intent of doing great harm. They kidnapped women, men and children along with some babies. Many have either died in captivity or been tortured to death. On the day of massacre – October 7, 2023 – Hamas terrorists killed, raped and tortured as many Jewish people as they could. They even killed their pets because, you know, dogs are “haram” – taboo or unclean. I’ve seen videos of Arabs torturing dogs just for the fun of it. How did I know they enjoyed it? Because they were smiling and laughing about it while they tortured the poor creatures.

These are not human beings. They are monsters, created by their fully warped ideologies and fueled by demons in human bodies. They have no real love for anything and what passes off as love for one another is simply a duty bound ideology that knits them together in their fascism and hatred of anything that is not Islamic.

What is probably most interesting however is that when it all comes down to it, there is no such thing as a “Palestinian” person. There is no DNA that connotes someone is Palestinian. The word “Palestine” comes from ancient Rome, when they wanted to move the area of the Philistines away from the nation of Israel. So they came up with the word “Palestine,” which, while used in Scripture, was used as a way to separate Israel from Land that belonged to that nation.

When Yassar Arafat rose to prominence, he coopted the word “Palestinian” to only refer to Arabs living in the land where ancient Philistines lived, who were eventually completely routed and destroyed under King David. Up to that point with Arafat’s masterstroke, anyone living in the area of Palestine was referred to as Palestinian, both Jews and Arabs (Gentiles). But with Arafat’s masterstroke, only Arabs became Palestinian and now the entire world believes those Arabs (mainly Jordanians) are required to have their own land. This is patently absurd, but for those who cannot think and are carried along essentially by virtue, this makes total sense.

It doesn’t matter how much archaeologists today uncover ancient ruins including synagogues in those areas that prove Israel is not the “occupier,” but that Hamas is, like Samaria, or Gaza. The other important truth here is that the Bible speaks of a day when Israel will live fully in peace with its neighbors and everyone will flock to Israel to worship on the Mountain of the Lord. Anyone who refuses to come up to worship will be judged by God. Of course, this doesn’t happen until the coming Millennial Kingdom, which follows the horrors of the sooner coming Tribulation period of seven years.

God has a plan for Israel and the fact that He has kept for Himself a remnant in each generation is proof of that, as though God’s Word was not proof in and of itself.

President Trump seems happy about the progress he is making in the peace process of the Middle East. Even if he is successful and Israel gets back all of the hostages (dead and alive), the world will continue to blame Israel for anything bad that happens in that area of the world. I’m not sure that Trump’s peace plan – the Abrahamic Accords – will actually have legs or longevity. It has many issues for Israel, which I won’t cover here, but it could possibly be the covenant that the Bible speaks about that is “confirmed” by the Antichrist (Daniel 9:27).

The Bible tells us that eventually the most evil man who has ever lived will rise up, confirm a covenant already in place with Israel and surrounding Arab nations and then commit unspeakable acts of horror against Israel. Why? Because he will be fully empowered by Satan (2 Thessalonians 2), and Satan’s hatred of Jewish people will be his own hatred.

By the way, speaking of Trump, though God is using Him for His own purposes and glory, it seems clear that Trump is, in many ways, clueless. He is surrounded by people like false prophet Paula White and many others who are steeped in wealth and prosperity false beliefs as well as Dominionism and/or Seven Mountain Mandates (which we’ll cover in an upcoming article). In short, Dominionism believes that as Christians work to turn the world to God, then eventually the world will arrive to a point where Jesus will be able to return to it and set up His Kingdom. This, unfortunately, does not square with Scripture at all. In fact, the very opposite appears to be the case where Jesus returns physically when the entire world comes together against Israel and against Him. That’s not peace. That’s war, but Christ will be Victor and finally set things to right.

Hamas is a terrorist organization working on behalf of Arab nations to eradicate Israel and all Jewish people from the Middle East. They work under the banner of Allah, the moon god (Satan), whose hatred for Jewish people and Israel knows no bounds. God is allowing them enough rope to hang themselves and He will utterly protect His Jewish remnant alive today, though we may clearly see more atrocities against Israel and Jewish people not just in the Middle East but throughout the world.

Christians who cannot see this should be concerned that they will come under God’s judgment for attributing to what Hamas does as being from God instead of its true source, Satan. This goes all the way back to Genesis 12:1-3. Even if Trump’s peace plan is put into effect, he will be guilty of dividing up God’s Land that He personally gave to Israel and God will not let that stand. Trump himself and all who are a part of this scheme will suffer the consequences of it.

All we can do is pray and trust that God will oversee the coming situation. We will continue to ask for His protection for the remnant of true Israelites buried within the nation of Israel. I do not trust Hamas, Qatar or other Arab states that appear to be willing to help peace reign in the Middle East. Personally, I think they will be simply biding their time until they can regroup and regain strength. It won’t stop at all.

The Rapture
As many are aware, the Rapture was said to have been scheduled for a week or so ago, by some guy named Joshua from South Africa. He said the Lord spoke to him and told him exactly what was going to take place. After the chosen date had come and gone with nothing happening, Joshua regrouped (just like Harold Camping had done previously and numerous people before him), to tell us that he was right about the times (Feast of Trumpets), but he had gotten the date wrong because apparently God was using the Gregorian calendar, not the calendar that the world uses today.

Interestingly enough, the Gregorian calendar was Pope Gregory XIII, in 1582. I find it fascinating that God decided to use that particular calendar rather than the Hebrew calendar He originally created for Israel. Nonetheless, Joshua got it wrong but then abridged his date-setting to coincide with the Gregorian calendar.

So, today is the day of the alleged Rapture, but wait! Apparently, according to some it’s only going to be for the “overcomers” and not all authentic Christians. So only those who are completely faithful to God will be taken today. The rest? No flight out.

Of course, this is absurd and there is one huge reason why it is absurd. Anyone who is authentically saved is part of the Church, the Bride of Christ. During the Rapture, Jesus will come to take His Bride, His Church back to heaven with Him (John 14:1-4). He doesn’t actually return to earth during this event. He simply steps out of the third heaven, calls His people up and greets them to return with them to where He is – in heaven.

So anyone who is truly and actually saved will be part of this event. There is no stipulation because that is what the BEMA Seat of Christ is all about – judgment on all individual believers based on their works in this life. They are not judged as to whether or not they are saved. They (we) are judged based on what we’ve accomplished in this life for our Lord.

Interestingly enough, I received an email from a woman who first, admitted she had been wrong about the first date of the Rapture occurring (September 23/24, 2025) and apparently had issued an apology over it. She then went onto state that the problem arose due to using the wrong calendar (she’s probably a follower of this Joshua character). She then ultimately moves onto a date of today, October 7, 2025 for the Rapture.

When I responded with an emailing calling her on it, she responded with this:

But we are commanded to keep watch and to observe the signs of the times in order to know the season of Christ’s return. Not the day or the hour but the SEASON.

Right, but the problem is that she was pinpointing a particular day and tried to say she was simply pointing to a “season.” So what will these people do when the Rapture does not occur today? Nothing. They’ll issue an apology maybe and move on. Their whole focus is on the Rapture and getting out of here instead of being about the Father’s business of Matthew 28 and everything Paul outlines in his epistles in the way Christians are supposed to live in this life.

My guess is that today will come and go with no Rapture. I could be wrong of course, because it could happen today, not because anyone predicted it, but because it was determined by the Father long ago when the Rapture would occur.

What many of these predicting people fail to realize is that predicting the Rapture is like predicting our own deaths. Does God want us to be preoccupied with our deaths? Only in the sense that as we realize our own longevity, we become more concerned about the state of people in the world who are lost without Christ.

If someone said to you, “Hey, I’m going to die a week from Friday,” you’d probably think them in need of mental health. Yet, when people predict the Rapture in spite of the fact that Jesus said we won’t know the day or hour, people turn to that person and start following them. It’s so ridiculous I’m sorry I have to write about it.

Folks, our job as Christians it to live as Jesus lived, to not worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will take care of itself. He said there is enough evil in this particular day that needs to be dealt with and the worst evil is that which works in the hearts of the unsaved.

I pray you have a wonderful day in the Lord in spite of trouble that may find you. In essence, it is allowed because of God’s permissive will in your life. He wants us to rise above it, to find strength in Him and to bring Him glory. We will grow because of it.
