Theology and Politics from a Conservative, Biblical Perspective

Thanks for joining me for this second part of the EU’s new ESG laws. These laws will impact the entire world. Pastor Holthaus begins talking about this at the 28 minute mark.[1]

What you have to do is marry it to what the whore of Babylon and really, what the Babylonian system is trying to achieve. Revelation 17 says this, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great Harlot who sits on many waters.”

So the Harlot obviously is the whore of Babylon. She’s where all false religion comes from (and) make no
mistake what the EU is doing, what the Europeans are doing, what the UN (and) all these groups (like) the world economic forum is pushing another religion!

ESG is another religion. It’s not a political aspect. It has a political component to it but it’s a religious aspect and so the Harlot is the provocateur of false religion. She’s a harlot in the fact that she perverts religion.

True religion according to James is that which serves others. That’s true religion. You serve God by serving others and He says (to) serve orphans and widows. You are serving the least of your congregation and your community. So you serve God by serving others. That’s the proper thing. The whore takes religion and perverts it and then makes the religion, instead of serving others, people serve the religion itself, if that makes sense.

…one of the things about religion you have to understand is that true religion is based on faith in God, if it will unify a diverse population, if that diverse population believes in the core tenants of what the Bible states. So, you can come from any background, nationality or whatever and if you believe in these core tenants of the Bible, you will be unified around that truth and that’s the brilliance of the church, which is made up of every tribe language, tongue and nation and can be unified under a common set of principles.

What Satan does, what the horror of Babylon does, is it destroys that true unity that’s based on truth and creates tribalism. So now we have the whore pushing diversity, equity, inclusion.

Please understand what they do is they say they want to celebrate diversity’s strength. Those terms are Marxist terms. There is no strength in diversity unless you are unified around actual truth. That’s how diversity works. It has to have truth, but if diversity is just for the sake of diversity, guess what happens? Division and tribalism or identity politics – whatever you want to call it – everyone goes their separate way because there, the diversity is not centered around a unifying principle of truth.

So what’s happened in America is the whore has been working, so she has sent diversity, equity and inclusion (even ESG scores) into the United States and that has caused tribalism in the United States, which is breaking up our national unity surrounding a certain set of principles particularly in the Church, like males don’t have babies.

What Holthaus is saying is that under the Whore of Babylon and the beast system that’s in the works, truth has been offloaded, replaced with the lies tribalism; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). In the end though, because there is no real truth in DEI, it creates only opposition, hate and separation between culture groups. The whole purpose of DEI is to promote people who may not be qualified to high positions simply because they are people of color (or transgender). This is in spite of the fact that many, many fully qualified people are passed over simply because they are White or Asian, all based on the erroneous belief in “white supremacy.”

There is nothing unifying about DEI or ESG. These are Marxist props used by globalists to destroy any cohesiveness within global society. Marxism promotes this division because Marxists understand that nothing new can be brought in, without a cataclysmic destruction of what currently exists within global society. This is why globalists use Marxism. It is not because they are Communists themselves. Marxism is simply the means to the end; Feudal 2.0.

World societies are being fractured and fully dismantled because of the rising of the beast system, by the Whore of Babylon, using every tenet of Marxism to accomplish it. The purpose is to destroy anything traditional that stems especially from biblical truth, replacing it with a false religious system that has zero truth in it but  forces people to “unite” at least in saying they will support that system because of the consequences of what may occur if they do not go along with it.

There’s quite a bit more in the video. I’m simply taking bits and pieces, highlighting them and commenting on them. Later on, Holthaus talks about the biblical image of the leaders of this world, along with the Antichrist and False Prophet, destroying the system of Babylon. Why? Because it served its purpose (out with the old and in with the new), and is no longer needed. Currently, globalists are pushing their own economic system (the Harlot), which Schwab refers to as including “stakeholder capitalism.” It’s garbage and all a ruse to eventually get what they want, while impoverishing most people on this planet, but enriching themselves.

As Holthaus also points out (and I and many others have said the same thing), globalists find useful idiots to do their bidding for them, to make the changes they want to see throughout global society in order for globalists to get the new global economic order they want. However, once they get what they want, do you think they’ll keep those “useful idiots” around used to change the world to their liking? Hardly. They will be the first to be executed. History actually proves this but since true history is not taught anymore, fewer and fewer know these things. After every revolution, dictators executed those who were willing traitors against the old system. The dictators knew that if those useful idiots turned against the old system, what would stop them from turning against the new system they helped create, once they realize what had actually occurred?

This happens with every regime change in third world countries. It happened when Saddam Hussein took control of Iraq. He began executing people who had stood against him (whether they actually did or not), to show the rest of Iraq society they’d better do things his way. It happened when Hitler took over as well. It happened in the old Soviet Union, Cuba and many other countries and empires throughout history. It’s actually happening now in the USA with the DOJ punishing conservatives. It will happen in the future after Antichrist gets everything he wants during the coming Tribulation period.

Later in the video, Holthaus speaks of the situation in Iraq and specifically, Babylon, which of course is where Babylon once stood physically.

Let me substantiate this for you with Revelation 14:8, “and another Angel saying Babylon is Fallen is Fallen the great City because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” I know what you’re saying. If I look today on Google Earth and I go to where Babylon was, all you’re going to see are ruins there. If I bring in Zechariah 5, I substantiate it even more, “Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me lift your eyes now and see what this is that goes forth. So I asked what is it and he said it is a basket that is going forth.”

What kind of basket? Well, that’s an ephah. You know what an ephah is – it’s what you would do business with and you trade spices and fruits and vegetables and different things like that, you used ephahs and so this is a trading device, which represents economy. So, it is a an economy that is going forth. He also said this is their resemblance throughout the Earth. Here is a lead disc. He lifted it up and this woman was sitting inside the basket. Then he said this is wickedness and he thrust her down into the basket and threw the lead cover over its mouth.

Let’s unpack that just a little bit. So, we have an ephah, which represents an economy. But notice that it has a lead disc lifted up that will shove down the inside economy. Are you following? The lead disc represents cheating in weights and measures. In the ancient world you would weigh out your coinage if you’re buying wheat or barley or spice or whatever. You would weigh things out in weights and measures. Well the thing is when you cheated, you would put lead discs on the one side [of the scale], and you would cheat [buyer] through the lead discs [Proverbs 20:20].

What he is saying is this is the economy that they’re creating. The lead disc is a top lid, which means they’re cheating everyone. This is a major cheat of everybody and it’s covering the entire top of the economy. It is cheating but notice who’s inside the economy: this is wickedness. This woman is the same woman in Revelation 17 and 18; the Harlot. She’s in the economy. She’s inside of it so the religious aspect of this Babylonian system is within the economy. That’s how you see her. She’s not apart from it. She’s in it, which is exactly what you’re seeing…

⁵ Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, “Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth.”

⁶ So I asked, “What is it?” And he said, “It is a basket that is going forth.”

He also said, “This is their resemblance throughout the earth: ⁷ Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket”; ⁸ then he said, “This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth. ⁹ Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven.

¹⁰ So I said to the angel who talked with me, “Where are they carrying the basket?”

¹¹ And he said to me, “To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base.”

Notice in verse 11, Zechariah is told by the angel that the basket is being carried to the land of Shinar and that will be the home base for the harlot and a house will be built for it. The land of Shinar is the geographical location of Babylon. Even though the old physical Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar’s day was destroyed and all that remains today are ruins, it appears that at some point in our future, according to Scripture, some form of physical Babylon will be rebuilt and this is where the Antichrist will have his headquarters.

Holthaus notes that this area may well be the perfect place because as we move into the future, digital IDs, digital passports and everything associated with those computer-based things will require massive amounts of geographical space for the tremendous amounts of computer servers and technology undergirding everything.

Remember, all the kings of the earth will participate in the Harlot’s wickedness and adultery because they have something to gain from their association with her. They will become very wealthy off the harlot’s economy and will mourn when this new Babylon economy is destroyed in Revelation 14, etc., during the Tribulation period.

Holthaus also believes that this Harlot in the basket, because she is lifted up from the earth, also represents to earth dwellers some type of counterfeit mediator between humanity and heaven, in the way Jesus is the only real Mediator. He then notes that he believes this is exactly what is now occurring in the EU.

Zechariah the prophet is saying what they’re doing right now in the EU will not stay in the EU. It will not stay in the United States. Yes, it will be global but the center of it will be taken to Iraq and there protected by the kings of the earth and the merchants of the Earth. She will eventually be destroyed and the kings of the earth and the merchants of the earth mourn for her, once she is destroyed there in Iraq, in one day Babylon the great city. So, what I’m telling you is it takes an amount of faith to believe that one day Iraq, believe it or not, will be the center of all economic and commercial transactions and that will be the headquarters of the Antichrist.
