A main sticking point are medicaid cuts which the democrats oppose. Trump has vastly increased the cost of living on even the poor by inflation causing tariffs. Trump is more concerned with spending money on needless war than he is about the well being of those living in America. He hurts the poor to benefit the military/intel industrial complex and the banks that underwrite it.

Somehow, MAGA has gotten people to look at the poor and homeless with contempt, disdain, and derision.
