As its popularity in the United States declines, Israel is funding the most extensive influence campaign in the United States to strengthen support among evangelical churches, which were previously regarded as a steadfast base for the Jewish state. Israel’s Foreign Ministry has engaged an American company to manage the campaign, intending to allocate just over $4 million to digitally market pro-Israel information in the Western US, directed at Christian churches, Christian colleges, and Christian events. Documents, submitted on September 18, 2025, under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), indicate that the San Diego-based company Show Faith by Works, LLC will carry out what the company describes as the largest Christian Church geofencing campaign ever conducted on American soil.
Geofencing marketing involves creating virtual boundaries around specific physical locations to trigger targeted advertising when mobile users enter or leave those defined areas. Based on the FARA document, Show Faith by Works, LLC proposes to target churches or places of worship and track attendees and continue to target them after they leave the geofence zone with pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian ads, and calls to action. The campaign will also be supported on the ground with mobile exhibits depicting the October 7th event, although it is doubtful that it will mention Israel’s Hannibal Directive.
In Exhibit A of its FARA registration statement, Show Faith by Works, LLC presents its “anti-Palestinian” section of the plan (Page 57), which characterises Palestinians primarily through the prism of Hamas. It asserts that Palestinians are complicit in Hamas’s leadership, financing and military operations, and accuses them of sheltering terrorists, hiding weapons in schools and hospitals, and celebrating the October 7 attack. The materials stress that there has never been a Palestinian state, that Hamas’s and Iran’s goals are “genocidal”. The filings also note attacks on American Christian aid workers in Gaza.
The campaign’s messaging in support of Israel aims to directly engage pastors and Christian audiences regarding the biblical and historical “importance” of Israel. The materials highlight a Jewish presence in the region prior to 1948, the legitimacy of the state, its commitment to safeguarding non-Jewish communities, and Israel’s initiatives to maintain civilian safety and demonstrate “moral superiority” during conflicts. The proposal distinctly highlights the main disinformation tactics employed by Israel, which the government has utilized since October 7 to rationalize the genocide in Gaza and the ongoing ethnic cleansing campaign in the Strip. The Israeli government has allocated unprecedented resources to influence American perceptions in what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has termed the nation’s “eighth front”, which aims to address Israel’s increasing struggle for narratives and influence global public opinion.

Israel’s influence campaign in the US introduces an additional element to Israel’s communication strategy in the US, enhancing a $1.5 million monthly agreement for AI-powered social media efforts with ex-Trump campaign strategist Brad Parscale, along with a partnership with a company named Bridge Partners to establish an influencer network known as the Esther Project. As per the invoices included in the filing, Show Faith by Works LLC, which was established on August 5, anticipates receiving over $3.25 million within a span of five months, distributed in equal payments through the global advertising powerhouse Havas Media. Additionally, they are demanding an extra budget of $835,000 for equipment and growth. The company disclosed that it received an initial payment of approximately $326,000 on September 18, just days prior to its official registration with the Department of Justice as a foreign agent.
