FL: Deltona - Domestic Defense, Wife Shoots Husband
An investigation into the incident was launched, and detectives concluded that a physical altercation had taken place between Jackson and his wife. They did eventually locate Jackson – when he arrived at a hospital in Daytona Beach with a gunshot wound to his arm. The wound was said to be non-life-threatening.
Detectives later tracked down the wife elsewhere in Deltona. She was interviewed about the altercation, saying that her husband had attacked her. He reportedly walked out of their residence, and she locked the door. After doing so, Jackson is said to have tried to force his way back inside. The wife, saying she feared for her safety, fired a shot at Jackson.
