President Trump Delivering Despite Deep State Opposition

President Trump had a great week last week. In addition to the live time public implosion of the Mueller Witch-hunt Wednesday, the President landed a flurry of counter-punches that certainly have the Democrats dazed and confused.

And worried.

TLB has honestly reported on both President Trump’s accomplishments and shortcomings. Many times it has been necessary to hold the Trump Administration’s feet to the fire. The disastrous budget deal that was reached last Monday for example is anathema to any fiscal conservative.

However a series of good reports arrived in the last seven days that show the President is still fighting and trying to deliver on key campaign promises.

Last Monday the White House announced plans to expand and expedite rapid deportation of migrants who haven’t been living in the United States for at least two years:

(Reuters) – The Trump administration said on Monday it will expand and speed up deportations of migrants who enter the United States illegally by stripping away court oversight, enabling officials to remove people in days rather than months or years.

Set to be published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, the rule will apply “expedited removal” to the majority of those who enter the United States illegally, unless they can prove they have been living in the country for at least two years.

Legal experts said it was a dramatic expansion of a program already used along the U.S.-Mexican border that cuts out review by an immigration judge, usually without access to an attorney. Both are available in regular proceedings.

On Tuesday the Department of Agriculture took steps to cut food stamp benefits for 3 million Americans in an effort to reduce the number of people gaming the system.

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said the states “have misused this flexibility,” Bloomberg reports.

“We are changing the rules, preventing abuse of a critical safety net system, so those who need food assistance the most are the only ones who receive it,” Perdue added.

Then on Friday President Trump revealed that the Department of Justice may subpoena Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton:

President Donald Trump floated the idea of issuing subpoenas for records related to former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday, noting that Democrats have done similar probes into his own life.

The President further told FoxNews:

All [the Democrats] want to do is impede, and investigate — they want to go fishing — and I watched Bob Mueller, and they have nothing. We want to find out what happened with the last Democrat president.”

Let’s look into Obama the way they looked at me from day one. They’ve looked into everything that we’ve done. They could look into the book deal that President Obama made. Let’s subpoena all of his records. Let’s subpoena all of the records having to do with Hillary Clinton and all of the nonsense that went on with Clinton and her Foundation.

President Trump revealed Sunday plans are in the works to possibly declare both ANTIFA and MS-13 Domestic Terror Groups:

Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!

Also on Sunday Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee Ronna Romney McDaniel implied that the upcoming Inspector General Report will expose Obama Administration Duplicity and alleged illegal use of FISA Warrants.

The long awaited report is expected to be out Labor by Day

Yesterday afternoon the President announced via Twitter that Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe will replace Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence.

The Director of National Intelligence serves as the head of the U.S. Intelligence Community, overseeing and directing the implementation of the National Intelligence Program and acting as the principal advisor to the President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council for intelligence matters related to national security.
