From 8:30 am- 4:30 pm the Day of Diversity will engage the Arab, Latino, Asian, African, Jewish and Disabilities communities in an interactive discussion focused on the current environment in policing, racism, stereotypes, media, and the do’s and dont’s of cultural etiquette. Topics on community policing, our current politically charged atmosphere will be addressed by our diverse speakers while developing tools of empowerment to combat the negative images , fear, intolerance, bigotry, hate crimes and various issues we are facing as a nation.
