The proverb “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” still applies. Nikki Haley, SC’s Sikh-Hindu governor, opened a Pandora’s Box of cultural genocide last June against all things Southern. Since her Columbia appearance with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, building, street, and highway names have changed, accompanied by flag bans, monument removals, and efforts to remove Southern names from military bases and high schools.
We are not a confederacy of dunces. The GOP voters of South Carolina recognize a vote for Cruz is a vote for Haley. A vote for Trump is a vote against Haley, Graham, and the Republican establishment.
