Hiker Found Dead! Sunspot Observatory! White Sands Trail! (Video)

I heard Mercury poisoning and I’ve heard a criminal investigation and protecting people. Hell I’ve heard everything. lol Does this tie into anything? I do not know but sharing the story anyway. Thanks. J.P.

Hiker found 30 Miles away from Sunspot Solar Observatory! Details are not being revealed at this time, due to an ongoing investigation!

WHITE SANDS NATIONAL MONUMENT, N.M. (AP) – New Mexico authorities are investigating the death of a Belgian tourist at White Sands National Monument.
  
Monument officials said the man was found unresponsive about a half-mile (less than a kilometer) from the Alkali Flat trailhead on Wednesday. His name wasn’t released and authorities have not determined a cause of death.
  
The search was prompted by the discovery of an unattended vehicle in the parking lot as rangers were preparing to close the monument for the evening.
  
The high temperature at White Sands reached 97 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday. There’s no shade or water along any of the trails in the monument.
  
Officials say visitors need to be prepared for the desert environment, especially during the summer months. They recommend hikers start early and take plenty of food and water.

I’m from Las Cruces, NM, which is 45min south from White Sands and have been there 100′s of times.. and to answer your question no that isn’t snow my friend that’s the sun beating off of the roofs of vehicles and also the fact that the sun reflects off of the sand like you would not believe… It’s most definitely hot and there are miles upon miles of dunes and sand as far as the eye can see…. It’s even said people have gotten lost out there and it’s very easy to get extremely dehydrated from being out there…. And to wander on those trails is still considered to be dangerous not just because of the extreme heat but the wildlife as well, not to mention it’s hard to find your way back if u leave the trails unless you are familiar with the area…Nonetheless it’s still a fun and interesting place to visit.
