AI Action Plan - Our Future Depends On The Stand We Take

Keeping to his promises, President Trump is fulfilling two Executive Orders (EO) of January 23, 2025 to develop an AI (artificial intelligence) Action Plan with a new EO.  A couple of individuals who will lead this will be AI and Crypto Czar David Sacks, and Mike Waltz, National Security Advisor.

Though not advertised very well in the news, this AI Action Plan is now listed on the Federal Register.  Comments on this proposed Action Plan can be made to  ostp-ai-rfi@nitrd.gov with “AI Action Plan” written in the subject box along with some other requirements, and submitted on or before 11:59 p.m. (ET) on March 15, 2025.  There is also a mail-in address for those who prefer that method of communication.

Not included in the requested input suggestions is whether or not AI is even wanted by citizens.  Regardless, there may be some information one should be aware of before commenting.  The reason for this plan is that AI will now be used extensively in the government.

Using AI in the federal government is nothing new but it is apparent with this administration its integration and use will expand exponentially going far beyond just fraud detection, administrative workflows, and data analytics. That is what the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was tasked to do.  It now looks apparent that AI will be used to perform the tasks traditionally performed by employees and will replace jobs.  Stargate is another piece of this agenda, all that data will need to be stored and analyzed somewhere, thus the building of data centers by Stargate.

So now comes the needed actions in a plan for responsible use of AI.  Part of that responsible governance is the administration choosing to go to the people for guidance, what do Americans want to see for responsible AI use in government?

Lots of recommendations are available for responsible AI use, especially in the government.  Some attributes of AI include analyzing complicated data faster and rooting out fraud, just what the public screamed for in the last election.  A downsized workforce through attrition won’t be as disruptive using AI and who knows, maybe that employee won’t even need to be replaced, just absorbed with more AI, saving taxpayer money.  And everyone loves talking to that AI representative rather than another human being.

Another advantage AI brings to the masses is its ability to make predictions, recommendations, and decisions, while improving operations and services.  Generative AI, or abbreviated as gen AI, can generate text, images, video, audio or software code to assist the federal employee, literally taking over the thinking portion of a human brain.  But who will check to see if that AI-created product contains an error, violated anyone’s privacy or laws, or was coded by someone who is unethical with vile intentions?  Somehow, a procedure or policy will prevent these catastrophes, especially knowing that the person creating the software themselves are being monitored and surveilled.  Not to worry, humans will still be needed with gen AI, they just need to be “reskilled”.

Coming together for group support and comradery will aid government employees in their adventures while using AI.  The public can rest assured they are safe.

Yet, other help, support, and recommendations are available to the government for safe AI use.

Barriers to effective use of AI in the government were identified by the World Economic Forum (WEF) six years ago such as the effective use of data, AI skills, and procurement mechanisms.  President Trump addressed removing barriers in an EO. Enough time has passed for the government to overcome those barriers and move forward with implementation.

Beginning with a statement on how an AI threat can be changed into a force for good in this WEF video, it then proceeds from showing facial recognition being used on the street, and controlling what is read, watched, and heard online, to how the algorithms bring threats with it, ending with acknowledgment that potential threats with AI are “unknown”.  If that sounds confusing, it is.  WEF knows significant dangers exist with AI, however, because it is such a gold mine for its tech corporations and overall agenda for technocratic control, it has to try and find a way to sell it while still being transparent about its dangers.

But it isn’t AI that is the problem according to WEF, it is the lack of skills by the people using it.  Similar to how AI is programmed to perform certain tasks, employees must also be programmed to “complement AI’s capabilities”.  Ethical and responsible use of AI in the government seems to be the answer, such as the ten recommendations that were instituted for the UK.  So now WEF is inserting their AI wisdom on other governments through its AI Procurement in a Box to increase public trust towards AI use.

It appears President Trump is following the steps, beginning with procurement of information (pg 13) through DOGE; defining the public benefit of eliminating waste and fraud (pg 15); leading to the ability for AI adoption (pg 17); obtaining relevant data by DOGE (pg 18); and finally developing an Action plan for the “proper data-governance mechanisms” (pg 18a), while including the populace in those decisions through the Federal Register.

Recognizing that “Governments around the world are now embarking on digital transformation”, and “public-private collaboration” and “rewiring” governments”, WEF brought in more experts this year to advise governments on what they should do collaboratively.  WEF’s wisdom and guidance for implementing AI in the U.S. government…what could go wrong?

A WEF “expert” stated it the best, “AI ends up being a question of power,” Azhar stated. “If control of infrastructure is power and control of the interface is power. Those who control AI will be powerful.”  That control would be the WEF corporate technology cartel.

All of this may seem far removed from the original subject of the opportunity to provide comments on an AI Action Plan.  But this information is to inform everyone of the trajectory that America is being taken, down a path that has been laid by WEF.  There is nothing positive or good about this path.  It will lead to technocracy which is merely the social engineering of a society.

There is no morality, responsibility, or ethics that can come from a piece of machinery that is programmed to operate in a specific way.  As suggested, an amoral person, or government, can very easily program this machinery for evil purposes.

The Trump administration is asking for comments on the mechanics of AI like hardware, data centers, energy consumption, model and open source development, use in the private sector, cybersecurity, data privacy, security against AI model attacks, technical and safety standards, national security and defense, research and development, education and workforce, procurement, and international collaboration.  The plan asks for concrete AI policy actions.  This is only an abbreviated portion of the suggestions for comments, but covers much of what WEF recommends for governments.

This course for America is being built.  Resistance may not be an option any longer once AI assumes control.
