On Thursday Glocester, Rhode Island Town Hall was invaded by a sea of yellow shirts all looking to their elected local Town Officials to help protect Second Amendment rights from the onslaught of Rhode Island’s State Leaders who are constantly trying to push draconian gun control measures.
Glocester Town Council passed this Second Amendment Resolution in a 6-2 vote, making its town the 7th town in a month to become a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
The Second Amendment Sanctuary stops the funding of any gun confiscation mandate that would require the storage of confiscated weapons. This resolution also helps to ensure gun rights and not comply to any gun control laws that are deemed Unconstitutional by the courts.
Even though many call it an non-binding resolution, it sends a direct message from the rural communities of Rhode Island to the State Capitol and itsGovernor Gina Raimondo who herself is an Anti-Constitutional gun grabber globalist and prominent member of the CFR-Council on Foreign Relations. Governor Raimondo also happens to be the Chair of the DGA-Democratic Governor’s Association that these towns are sick of not being represented by their Governor. Where as the Governor is constantly pushing to ban semi-automatic weapons and high capacity magazines, meanwhile providing illegal sanctuary for illegal immigrants and using Rhode Islander’s tax payers money on this illegal activity that clearly violates federal laws. Most of all citizens of Rhode Island are tired of having to go to the State House year after year to fight off draconian anti-Constitutional gun control bills.
For six years now after the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, Rhode Islander’s have been flooding the state house by the thousands all dressed in yellow pro-gun rights shirts to battle and defeat draconian gun control bills.Rhode Islander’s are now making a stand against its gun grabbing Governor and State Legislators. Many more Towns are now in the process of adopting this 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Resolution.
Rhode Island was the first state over 200 years ago to declare its independence from the Crown when the Crown seeking to impose taxation without representation, strict gun control policies and force their state religion (Church of England) down our throats while attacking Christians and Puritans. Almost like Governor Raimondo is doing to Rhode Islanders today. Attacking the innocent trying to ram through horrific abortion bills that would allow abortions up to birth, attack gun rights and impose heavy taxation upon the people.
