U.S. Kicks Off Migrant Deportations To Rwanda
The landlocked East African nation of Rwanda has received its first batch of illegal aliens deported from the U.S., as the Trump administration accelerates efforts to remove rapists, gang members, cartel members, terrorists, and others who entered under the Biden-Harris regime’s disastrous open-border globalist policies that flooded the nation with millions of unvetted migrants from the Third World.
Bloomberg reports that seven illegals deported from the U.S. arrived in Rwanda, with 250 more expected in the near term. The local government pledged to provide them with housing, training, and healthcare support.
“The first group of seven vetted migrants arrived in Rwanda in mid-August,” Yolande Makolo, a spokeswoman for the Rwandan government, told the media outlet on Thursday.
The Trump administration has negotiated deals with a dozen countries, including South Sudan and Eswatini, to receive migrants after their home countries rejected them upon deportation orders.
Last week, CBS News reported that Uganda reached an agreement with the Trump administration to begin accepting U.S. deportees originating from other African countries.
The outlet noted that a dozen or so countries have signed deals with Trump to accept deportees from other nations.
On Monday, the criminal illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia (known in far-left media as “Maryland Father”) was arrested by ICE agents at the agency’s field office in Baltimore, Maryland. Soon after, the illegal’s deportation order was blocked by a radical leftist judge. Garcia is expected to be deported to Uganda.
Earlier this summer, the Supreme Court gave the Trump administration the ability to deport illegals to third countries with a minimal degree of notice and due process.
Additionally, the Trump administration has announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status for citizens of seven of the 15 countries previously designated for shelter by the Department of Homeland Security. In other words, the number of migrants eligible for deportation is broadening.
