OTL: Mock Draft Friday Overlooks Arm Length Concerns
Welcome Back Ravens Flock. Today we have another Mock Draft Friday as we creep closer to the NFL Draft later this month.
Today, we do have some re-dos of picks and players early, but not re-dos early enough to make this mock a complete repeat of any that we’ve already completed.

We start this one off with a pick I made back at the beginning of this draft season, but haven’t revisited. Spencer Fano’s stock has really fallen since the combine, where he measured in with some really short arms. This is why teams are worried about Fano; however, I think the noise may be a bit overblown, and this is clearly a top-10 talent falling. Yes, he does have short arms, but I think he actually does work around them really well. Also, his arms measured shorter at the Combine than at his Pro Day (32 7/8 inches vs. 32 1/8). Why we have such a difference for something so important is beyond me. We have technology to measure the exact inch of a football for a first down, yet we can’t get consistent arm-length measurements. We are living in wonderful times, aren’t we?
Fano is an awesome player, and if he did fall, it would only benefit the Ravens:
I don’t see how Spencer Fano isn’t widely considered a lock top-10 pick.
Three seasons of excellent production
Can play multiple positions (563 snaps at LT, 1646 at RT)
Allowed just two QB hits and 20 pressures over the last two seasons.
Only 21 years old
Elite…

Where he would play on the O-line is a legit question. If he ends up in Baltimore, I could even see a scenario where he plays center in year one and then moves to tackle/guard later on. No matter where he is, this would be a slam dunk at 14.
Akheem Messidor is a player with legitimate criticisms – he is much older at 25, has limited bend, and isn’t a dominant run defender – who perhaps isn’t worth a first-round pick. With all that said, taking him in the second round would be fine in my book, because he does have really good tape and flashes some impressive wins:
One of my favorite prospects in this class is Akheem Mesidor. His report looks like this:
Strengths
• Explosive first step
• Relentless motor
• Versatile pass rush alignments
• Strong lower-body power
• Deep pass rush toolboxWeaknesses
• Older prospect (25)
• Limited… pic.twitter.com/tfQ6VfuEnr— SCOUTD (@scoutdnfl) March 16, 2026
I do worry a tiny bit about how Messidor would fit with all these lighter pass rushers on the roster, but he was too good a value to pass up here.
Rayshaunn Benny is a player who feels like he might be a Raven in the later rounds of this draft. He has a connection to the staff here and he has the run defense from the interior that the Ravens really do need right now:
Rayshaun Benny is next up on the Michigan defensive line and a top returning DT to watch in 2025
He’s primed for a breakout season.
Only 2 starts at Michigan but here are the stats:
41 Tackles
9.0 TFL
27 QB Pressures
29 run stops

C.J. Daniels is a guy who is creeping up draft boards right now, mainly because he tested really well, running a 4.44 at 6’2 210 lb. Mixed that with decent enough tape, and it’s not hard to see why teams like him in this range.
Scott is a bit of a hybrid player as he has the build and zone IQ to play safety, but the tackling and the speed of a slot corner. Dixon is a Corner who had a ton of hype going into the year, but struggled with injuries, yet he has the size and athleticism that you look for in a big press Corner.
Wagner has the size and athletic profile to be a great starting Tackle in the NFL someday. Logan Jones is my favorite of these late-round center picks on day three. Rairdon is a huge blocking tight end with legit athleticism that is falling because of his injury concerns. Faison doesn’t have the athleticism most look for in the Draft, but he is strong enough to play in the NFL with his balance and footwork.
Overall, a really solid Draft here with some nice value as well.
