Chicago Bears see former Packers WR praise Caleb Williams as a potential NFL MVP
It has only been two seasons, but current Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is well on his way to becoming one of the best players in franchise history. Indeed, he has already put up two of the best statistical seasons by a quarterback in franchise history. And he is only going to get better.
This past season, Williams, under the guidance of new head coach Ben Johnson, led the Bears to an 11-6 record and an NFC North division title. He also won his first career NFL Playoffs game, a thrilling comeback victory over the hated Green Bay Packers.
And while he has not yet received recognition as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, a former rival wide receiver thinks that he will be soon.

Former Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings wide receiver Greg Jennings spent a great portion of his career in the NFC North. Of course, he spent the majority of his career in Green Bay, but also ended it with the Minnesota Vikings.
Now an NFL analyst with FOX, Jennings believes that the Bears have a star in the making with Williams under center:

To defend his point, Jennings pointed to the increase in stats from his rookie season to 2025. He argued that if Williams is able to continue to improve and takes another jump in 2026, which will be his third year in the NFL, then he should end up as being regarded as a top-five player in the league.
