Stocks Rebound in Dominant Win Over Denver
The Ravens had a very impressive win against the five-win Denver Broncos yesterday. The Broncos came into the day with one of the best defenses in the league and the Ravens shredded them all day long. After the debacle in Cleveland, this was a much needed “get right” game heading into the short week hosting the Bengals.

Stock Up
Justice Hill
Hill continues to make plays. Whether its catching the ball, running the ball or picking up the blitz, he has become an invaluable piece to the Ravens offense. He seems to make 1-2 chunk plays every game and his shiftiness makes him hard to bring down.
Zay Flowers
Flowers has a 100-yard game in four of the last five weeks. He is becoming an upper echelon NFL WR. He is making tough catches, showing great YAC and his hands have been excellent all year. His catch-and-run TD to end the first half was a thing of beauty, and something few WR in the NFL can do.
Lamar Jackson
Mr. Perfect must make the list this week. As we have been saying, this is the best Lamar we have ever seen. He is clicking with everyone. Derrick Henry’s addition has made a difference, but his accuracy on those intermediate passes is superb. He didn’t look to run yesterday but it didn’t matter. Denver had no answer for him all day. At this point, he is right….it’s a “pick your poison” offense. This offense can hurt you in many ways. In the past, if you shut down the run, it was harder for Baltimore to move the ball. That is no longer the case, as they’re capable of regularly picking up huge chunks through the air.
Kyle Hamilton
After dropping the potential game-winning interception last week, Hamilton was on a mission yesterday. He led the team in tackles. He was flying all over the field. He is the best safety in the game, and it was good to see him bounce back after that failure last week.
Marlon Humphrey
Humphrey gets some grief from the fan base, but he is one of the five or so most important players on the team. The Broncos avoided throwing at him yesterday. He was targeted just four times, and they had two completions for 23 yards, according to PFF. He is currently the team’s best corner and is playing at a high level this year.
Tavius Robinson
The 2023 fourth-round pick had his first career multi-sack day with two, and also had a nice timely hit to break up a pass. Though neither sack was particularly impressive from a technique standpoint (you can watch them in Ryan Mink’s post below), for a team that’s desperate for a pass rush, every little bit helps.
Effort gets rewarded.

Stock Down
Brandon Stephens
Despite good coverage metrics, teams continue to pick on Stephens. He was targeted eight times yesterday and gave up five catches for 95 yards. His lack of ball skills are really hurting him. He is quite often in position but isn’t making plays.
Isaiah Likely
Likely is blocking well but he has disappeared from the passing game. I imagine he will still have an impact there as the season goes on, but Lamar is looking for Mark Andrews, Hill and the WR more often now.
Roquan Smith
Roquan Smith is becoming a regular on this list. I understand that there are some issues with the scheme, but Smith looks slower, is out of position often, and opponents are taking advantage of the middle of the field too often with him out there. The Ravens need the good Roquan to come back if this defense is going to turn around.
David Ojabo
His second straight healthy scratch tells us all we need to know about where the Ravens believe he is right now. Drafting him was a gamble and the Ravens knew that, but the further injuries haven’t helped. Don’t be surprised to see him dealt tomorrow.
