Silver has been a good investment. 20 years ago I bought it for $4.5 an ounce. Now it’s around $25, a 550 percent increase or around 27 percent a year. Not bad, but I doubt it will go to $1000, may eventually reach $100. All fiat currencies will eventually collapse, and only those backed by gold will survive. The BRICS are already headed in that direction to have a partially gold backed currency.
Cilif High has been promoting 1000-dollar silver since 1999. Silver is now in a trading range since the 2011-12 crash. If you bought it at its high of around 40 dollars, you have been in the weeds for over a decade. The only ones making money off silver are the corrupt dealers in physical metal and those that trade paper metal. I laugh at those poor hoarders who constantly buy physical metal with high premiums and keep coming back for more believing that silver will be 1000 dollars an oz. any day now. This old song has been sung by the manipulators for decades. There should be a law that states these guys are not allowed to talk about silver until it reaches its 2011/12 high. If you want to make money in silver buy the ETF below 25 dollars an ounce and sell it at above 25 dollars an ounce and repeat
