Auchenflower DCNN6510 – an admission of my error…..another terrible weather station.

An eagle eyed reader contacted me to correct an error in my previous post on Dumfries and Galloway in which I mistakenly claimed Auchenflower was in the county. I feel I must admit my error and point out that Auchenflower weather station is, in fact, in South Ayrshire. My reader also pointed out that if I could track down this now closed site it would make for yet another sorry tale to tell.
The weather station was NOT operational from 1/8/2001 to 31/12/2013 and the above image was NOT from March 2009. Although this image is from Google Streetview it must be an example of “Disinformation“. The Stevenson screen is NOT in the rear garden of a domestic property. The site is obviously NOT set alongside hedging that is actually taller than the regulation height of the screen. It is OBVIOUSLY set in a secure enclosure to avoid any entry by unauthorised persons. It is very clearly an OUTSTANDING example of the rigorous standards employed by the Met Office that 100% of their stations meet. It is CIMO Class 1.
How do I know all this….. Mr Patrick (Lord) Vallance says so and he claims to be a “SCIENTIST“. And me?Well I am just a “Disinformer” writing on a conspiracy blog. And you reading this must NOT believe the evidence of your own lying eyes.
I promise not to insult the intelligence of my readers any further on this by droning my views about the “Lord” falsely claiming to be a scientist so I shall leave with this image someone posted on X
