Cadillac has unveiled the 2026 VISTIQ, a luxury three-row sport utility. The model will be sold globally, starting in North America. Production will begin in early 2025 at GM’s Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

SAE International and EUROCAE have jointly announced the publication of documents that serve as teh first worldwide hydrogen station guidelines for the aerospace industry. SAE AIR8466 and EUROCAE ER034 provide definitions for performance targets and safety limits for aircraft refueling with hydrogen.

Horizon Unveils 400 kW Fuel Cell System
Horizon Fuel Cell has unveiled is new VLS-IV 400 kW fuel cell. With a lower cost, higher output, and long lifespan, the new system has a high fault tolerance as well. It could reduce hydrogen consumption in fuel cell heavy trucks by up to 20 percent.

Toshiba Ships 1200V SiC MOSFET Samples
Toshiba Electronics Europe has developed a new 1200-volt silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs for automotive traction inverters. These have been shipped in bare die format for customization testing. These sample shipments are meant to bait the hook for interested automakers.

Stellantis and Infineon are working jointly to develop the power architecture for Stellantis’ electric vehicles. The companies have signed supply and capacity agreements that include Infineon’s PROFET smart power switches, silicon carbide semiconductors, and microcontrollers.
