GLACIER PENDULUM

What is that Vast Channel at the North Pole?

In geography lessons in schools, many maps have been and are presented so that the geographic conformations and different elements of the globe would become familiar to people in their childhood. Have they become so familiar to people that new insights do not enter into the mind of the onlooker, no matter how often they may look at the same maps? Their thoughts always continue to follow the learned and acquainted scales and figures.

I was astonished when I looked at a map of the North Pole area. At the very beginning of January 2018, when I looked at the satellite map of the Polar area on my computer, where also the depths of the Arctic Ocean had been depicted, I discovered something that brought frightening thoughts into my mind, new thoughts on top of the former ones.

In my retirement years, I have tried to warn people, and many would say to scare people, about the situation building up on the glacier of Greenland that elsewhere in the Arctic is called an ice-shedding, which normally occurs every spring. It is a phenomenon that is created when the warmer weather melts the ice of every frozen northern river to the point where the ice-cover begins to disintegrate and move. Eventually it starts to rush, being moved along by the already-melted ice downriver and out into the sea.

True that the river ice, the lake ice, as well as largely the sea ice of the Arctic Ocean do melt, but do not result in danger, unless a wind pushes them into large heaps onto the shores into wrong places. Many Northern people believe they know about ice-shedding after witnessing many of them and having learned to prepare themselves for the ice-shedding. Then, an understanding sticks hard on their mind that the ice-shedding is only temporary and likely only a local problem. Therefore, they think they do not need to be concerned because in many cases the river in question can be crossed over by bridges and the ice floating on a lake or the sea can then be evaded easily.

However, the continental glaciers are in their own class. Although the same base-physics of the ice-shedding works in them also, they have to be considered altogether different than the frozen rivers and the small, local mountain glaciers. The glacier of Greenland that I mostly deal with now is immense. You can study an example here with Google or another search engine, if the link does not work: Greenland Glacier

The glacier of Greenland is about 2500 km (1600 mi) long, 1000 km (620 mi) broad, and 3.2 km (2.0 mi) thick in the middle. It contains almost 3,000,000 cubic-kilometers (730,000 cu mi) of ice. If the ice melted into water that was led through turbines, the energy amount produced would be about 900,000 times the energy that the Sumatra earthquake discharged into the Indian Ocean on 26th December 2004. It can be said that an apocalyptic doom force is lurking in Greenland, a force that only waits for a chance to be released. The entire world is in mortal danger, but people do not recognize it or care.

The discharge of the continental glaciers also means earthquakes that nobody has experienced before. That comes from two facts: The amount of the ice of the Antarctic is 10 times the ice of Greenland, and the potential energy of the ice of the Antarctic is 13 times the energy of the ice of Greenland. The tremor waves coming from the North will eventually concentrate in the Antarctic and shake it to discharge its glacier also, at least partly.

On the satellite maps of Scandinavia, it can be seen clearly that some enormous drag in the distant past has harrowed all of Scandinavia from the northwest to the southeast into grooves, where the main routes of the water systems run and the direction of which the fells and ridges largely follow also. At least ancient reindeer men and hunters have known this fact and used it while navigating in the wilderness areas without a map. In the utmost north too, there are grooves running from north to south, whereas from the north from the Arctic Ocean, a secondary ice-water tsunami has come, which I will explain soon.

Can you figure out what will happen to the poor globe when an energy amount that is almost one million times the energy of the Sumatra tsunami will be set free? Breakers, several kilometers or a couple of miles high, roll over all coasts and coastal mountains, then moving far into the interior. On the western coast of Norway, the waves will be 3 – 4 km high and easily sweep over Scandinavia entirely. The waves run at the speed of a jetliner. You can use the link below or the Google maps, giving keywords Scandinavian mountains, if the link does not work: Scandinavian mountains

There, the highest summit is 2,469 meters high, so the waves will easily go over the mountains also. Of course, the distance of thousands of kilometers will help tame the huge waves somewhat, but anyway, they run from sea to sea and trigger many earthquakes with their enormous weight. In Greenland and surrounding areas, the quakes will easily exceed 10 Richter degrees. The earthquakes in turn create many areal tsunamis.

In my book, Ice-Shedding of Ages, I have done many calculations concerning the glaciers of Greenland and Antarctica, the Sumatra earthquakes and earthquakes in general, tsunamis and storms, and many other topics with their grounds and conclusions. The book can be found at Amazon Ice-Shedding of Ages – Kauko Loukas and elsewhere.

Everybody who has studied college or higher physics can do the same calculations as I have done. No deep underground caves and safe havens can survive. The gigantic earthquakes exceed 10 Richter degrees and they will shatter all deep caves which will be filled by seawater. Only God can save His humble children when they pray to Him, for the sake of His Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua. He is the only one to be trusted.

What then are my new frightening ideas that I mentioned in the beginning? I got them when I perused some Polar satellite maps like this one where the depth of the Arctic Ocean can be seen very illustratively. Arctic maps If the link does not work, you can give some search engine the key words arctic maps and pick up the most illustrative satellite map.

On the satellite map of the Arctic Ocean, you can clearly see an enormous channel, 4000 meters (13,000 feet) deep. The channel starts from the northern coastal waters of Greenland and runs by the North Pole towards the Laptev Sea at eastern Siberia, where a huge glacier like the one in Greenland now, resided many thousands of years ago. The North Pole Channel (which is how I like to call it), is flanked by two undersea ridges, the Lomonosov Ridge on the Canada side and the Gakkel Ridge on the Siberia side. The former one is remarkably higher and broader than the latter one, and I cannot explain the cause of the difference, but it may not be important now. However, I got an insight concerning the birth-origin of the channel. It was the same kind of insight that I got years ago concerning the ice-shedding of Greenland also.

Suddenly, I realized that in the distant past between the Laptev Sea and Greenland, there occurred a phenomenon that I would like to call a “glacier-pendulum”. I cannot calculate exactly how long the pendulum has worked, but I would think that it is at least tens of thousands of years. Every time an ice-shedding has taken place in Greenland, a great or main part of the ice has burst out through the North Pole Channel to the Laptev Sea and the adjacent coastland where a new vast glacier has grown. The rest of Greenland’s ice has burst towards Scandinavia, Western Europe and North America. On the floor of the Arctic Ocean, large and deep basins can be seen both on the sides of Europe and North America. Additionally, the steep continental shelves prove that the currents have been swift and very impetuous.

When a massive ice-load has moved from one side of the North Pole to the other side, it has jerked the axis of the Earth, interrupted the daily spin and caused the oceans and seas to roll over the continent lands. It was not as fast a disaster that could be caused by a giant asteroid, but nothing else except Noah’s Flood comes to mind. According to the theory in my book, it was Greenland’s ice-shedding that started Noah’s Flood. The present glacier-pendulum theory makes Noah’s Flood even easier to understand. Also the Antarctic joined the game, giving its own conclusive part, so that even the highest mountains were covered. The Bible is not a storybook.

When the Laptev glacier has grown very large and weakened due to the warming climate again, there will be an ice-shedding on it in turn, and the main part of the ice-mass, floated by the flood water, will rush through the North Pole Channel, now in the contrary direction, namely toward Greenland. The latter, having stayed green for a long time, will get a new ice-cover and start to accumulate a glacier again. The glacier-pendulum will start from the beginning. This way, Greenland and the Laptev sea throw ice upon each other in turn, and the North Pole Channel grows broader and deeper every time. What phase are we in now?

The glacier of Greenland, which is like an unimaginably large ice-dam, is melting fast which can be seen in articles and maps concerning it. It is not a cause of rejoicing if the amount of the ice grows temporarily because the rims are melting anyway. In some phase, the rims are not able to withstand the crushing pressure pushing from the interior. Also remember that the ice is liquid, not rock. The permafrost that for now has kept the rim-zone of the glacier firmly frozen on the base-rock is warming due to the geothermal heat, and losing its grip, and the ice on the rock is weakening gradually. You should know that the warmer the weather, the weaker the ice. It is that simple. Don’t go onto weak ice! No quant physics is needed. A practical sense and experience are enough. Now, you have a chance to think in a big way.

The glacier of Greenland is doing little moves restlessly like an immense, awakening beast. It makes little jumps towards the sea. Long and broad cracks are opening on it like one huge crack recently and melt-water lakes appear and disappear in the summertime. There are earth and ice-quakes, and what is most important is that the strength of the ice is growing weak due to the general rising of the temperature. Also volcanic activity has been found under the glacier. When will the ice-shedding of Greenland start? In my book, I cover these subjects and many others in greater detail.

Even the start of the ice-shedding of a frozen river is based upon how you guess it. If hundreds of people bet on it, someone may be right within minutes, as it sometimes happens at my home river. Most people are gravely wrong. The bet has to be made at a certain time, before the statistically timely ice-shedding, according to the rules. I have not participated in that betting because I do not live on a riverbank, which would be necessary for a good betting. It is much harder to bet on when the ice-shedding of Greenland will start, but there are some alarming signs. I have mentioned some signs here and more of them are revealed in my book.

Much honest praying and protection from God are needed. In one way or another, we can prepare. Where could we flee to and what could we take along with us? The adept bug-out preppers have an advantage, but they have to consider some extra questions regarding the ice-shedding of the continental glaciers. The distance from the coastline and the altitude of the bug-out place are the most important key points. How do you get there? What about the food, drinkable water, equipment and other survival means? Do you have knowledge about how to keep healthy, heal wounds and avoid accidents?

When you begin to constantly hear growing rumbling that does not die down but becomes louder, and you feel the earth trembling more and more violently, you would be better to bug out as fast as you can to a place as far and high as possible. The tsunamis run as fast as a jetliner, so you can estimate how much time you have before they reach you from Greenland. In my book, I have measured distances and calculated tsunami times from Greenland to many geographical places.

May our dear Father God and His Son Jesus Christ help and protect us in these dangerous times. Take your courage and trust in God!
