Everyone Will Soon be Judged by the Highest Court in the World

There are two separate days in court scheduled for everybody. Everyone will stand before the Judge and will have to give an account of their life. The first one is for believers in Jesus Christ and is stated like this. “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” 2 Corinthians 5:10 This is not a “judgment” as we think of it, it’s more of an evaluation as believers in Christ have already had their sins forgiven. It’s when Christians will receive their next assignments based on what they need to experience or what they need to learn. They get to live with Jesus forever and He will teach them His Ways.
The next judgment is for unbelievers and is stated like this. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Anyone who’s name was was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11+ This one is a real judgment. This is for all those who did not ask Jesus to forgive their sins. They now have to pay for their own sins in the lake of fire after which they will perish and exist no more. Everyone who ever lived on earth got to choose whether they wanted to accept what Jesus did for them by dying on the cross for their sins, or whether they did not.
