When I worked the streets I used to ask people two questions. The first one was…Where would you like to go after you die. Every single person said Heaven. No one said Hell. My next question was…Do you know what God requires of you for you to go to Heaven. Well, then I got many different answers. But the number one answer was I have to be a good person. Which is a good answer, but is it true? Let’s see what the Bible says about that.
In the Book of John, Chapter 3 Nicodemus a high ranking Jewish official came to see Jesus. Jesus told him “I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven…..you should not be surprised at my saying that you must be born again.” The point here is this.
Jesus was the son of God. He clearly said…I tell you the truth. And that truth is that there is only One Way to get to Heaven and that is to be Born Again. This is His words not mine or anyone else’s. So if you think there is another way, Jesus tells us clearly that there is not. There is only One Way and that is to be Born Again. Therefore many people who think otherwise will be shocked to find out that they don’t qualify. Unfortunately they will find out too late. What about you? What do you believe?
