The whole Taylor fad is just that…a fad for people being told what they want to hear. There is always someone making a claim that their god is doing this and that, but in reality it is not only speculation but often out right lying to people.
Then you have those who believe god is always pissed off and because they believe this, every event to them means judgment. This is the kind of people who actually want to see destruction and death, so they can tell someone “see I told you so”. This is the selfish arrogant followers who really only care about others believing as they do, otherwise they are told they will “burn and be tortured”. They take liberty to condemn any one who refuses to submit to their beliefs.
It is sick and twisted but very much part of the modern religious mind set. There are also those who live their faith, never condemn others and actually understand that the most important aspect of their faith is how they treat others. If they are judgmental, hateful and abusive, which that is too common, their faith means nothing.
People who follow the abrahamic religions have been taught a jealous vengeful entity who apparently has no problems with wiping out entire cities and villages including innocents, and yet we are told “he loves us”.
This is cognitive dissonance, and within that they support religious tyranny.
