Was Jesus Christ confirming the NEW Covenant with many for the 3 ½ years He was on this earth–if not then what was He doing?
After Jesus died as our Passover on the Stake there were only 120 which had accepted the New Covenant.
At that first Feast of Pentecost after Christ’s death 3000 more accepted the terms of the New Covenant.
What are the terms?
Acts 2
37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost spirit.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
3000 repented – changed ones mind regarding committing sin against God.
I John 3: 4
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: —-for sin is the transgression of the law. i. e. the Torah.
3000 were buried under the water – were baptized.
And by the Laying on of hands 3000 were given the gift of the Father’s Spirit.
Acts 8
18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
Hebrews 6
1 Therefore leaving— the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and— of laying on of hands,— and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Again — what was Jesus Christ doing for 3 ½ years here on this earth if not explaining the terms of the NEW Covenant/contract?
A contract must have 2 parties and both parties must agree to the terms of the contract before it becomes a legal valid contract.
A covenant is a contract.
So when Jesus Christ was explaining to the rich man how to obtain eternal life, which the Old Covenant never offered, was Jesus Christ wrong when Jesus told the Rich man he must keep the commandments?
Is keeping the 10 Commandments one of the terms of the NEW COVENANT?
Matthew 19
16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, ——–that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but —- if thou wilt enter into life,——— keep the commandments.
Jesus Christ told the rich man to gain eternal life the rich man must obey, keep, not transgress the 10 Commandments — and in verse 18 Christ listed 5 of the 10 when the rich man asked which he must keep.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear FALSE witness,
19 Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Thus when I post comments and papers stating the Torah in which the 10 Commandments are found must be obeyed many accuse me of heresy.

Do you honestly believe Jesus Christ the Son of God the Father spent 3 ½ years here on this earth teaching the terms of New Covenant that would then be changed at His Death??
Show us the Words of Jesus Christ stating the terms of the New Covenant would be altered or changed by HIS DEATH.
And that is exactly what you people have accepted as truth if you think the LAW, the entire Torah was abolished at the stake.
What you are in effect accepting as truth, what you are in effect saying is Jesus Christ spent 3 ½ years teaching lies.
If this does not make sense to you – then you are one of the deceived.
If you want to continue to accuse me of heresy then prove by the Words of Jesus Christ the above is wrong.

At 30 years of age Jesus Christ could then legally work in the Temple and He did so.

14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught
Why do you blaspheme ? Every sin brings a penalty and yours is coming.

Do you know why Christ did not list the first 4 Commandments that show us how to love GOD and why He only listed the ones show us how to love our fellow man?
Jesus Christ was not telling every rich man to sell what they have — Jesus Christ was pointing out to this rich man that he was putting His riches before God, the rich man was transgressing the Commandment :”Thy shall have no other gods before ME”. His riches was his god.
The rich man was obeying the commandments Christ listed or Christ would have explained otherwise.

Gray if you will check with Strong’s you will find the majority of times the word “law’ is used in the Old Testament it is the Hebrew word Torah- the Law IS THE TORAH.

If Jesus Christ came to confirm the New Covenant then why did He — repeatedly —- teach His Disciples to obey the Commandments if the Commandments were not part of that new Covenant/Contract?
WHY?
If the New Covenant changed everything then why didn’t Jesus Christ teach the changes?
If all that was to be required was just “belief” then why did Christ state you must be converted and you must eat His flesh and drink His blood, and you must let Christ rule over you? Why did Christ teach it is the DOERS that will be justified?
If Christ came to bring the Covenant of Love and peace then why did He say ?
“34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”
In the 4 Gospels the teachings of Jesus Christ are 180 degrees in the opposite direction of what the 40,000 flavors of so called christianity teaches.
ALL 40,000 flavors hate the words of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came to confirm the NEW COVENANT, if that is true which it most certainly is, then why did Christ teach to be in that kingdom one must repent from transgressing the Holy eternal Law of God?
17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,—- Repent: — for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”.
Christ came to put in place the New and better contract/Covenant and He spent 3 ½ years doing so – and during that 3 ½ years He taught His disciples they must Keep the Commandments —- yet the 40,000 flavors of the so called Christian churches teach all one must do is speak words in to the wind. “I believe”
Do you believe all the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ were voided by His Death — that Jesus Christ spent 3 ½ years teaching a WAY that ended with His death?
