Just letting you know this is my third visit here.
Truthseeker, my answer to your title question for this article is NO.
You have convinced yourself that it is so and that’s fine.
That however, does not necessarily make it so.
And it does not give you the right to ridicule or shoot off those
who, based on the selfsame Scriptures, hold a different view.
When I read Mathew 24, I see a roughly outlined time line:
Verses 5-7 : the beginning of sorrows/tribulation;
Verses 9-12: increasing sorrows/tribulation;
Verses 14-26: great tribulation starting with the abomination standing in the holy place; followed by false christs and false prophets with deceiving signs
Verses 29-31: After tribulation heavenly signs
No WW3 mentioned specifically anywhere.
In John’s Revelation, I see that roughly outlined time line is now filled with details,
yet following the same pattern : beginning/Seals, increase/Trumpets, great/Vials.
Each stage now has 7 parts. Perfect logic, following God’s time table of multiples of 7′s.
Mathew 24:6+7 (Beginning of Sorrows) talks about wars in various places.
This corresponds with Seals 1-4, which you make out to be WW3.
You ignore all the wars in history, you ignore the great famine, the Black Death,
the great persecution, WW1 and WW2 and more in order to arrive at WW3.
What kind of logic is that?
It corresponds to the logic of John Kerry, who ignores previous mistakes,
ignores the UN, proclaims Syria guilty in order to call for military intervention.
You have a preset idea and try to squeeze and fit Scripture to correspond to that idea.
It does not work that way, not for me in any case. You cannot build a puzzle by forcing
it’s various pieces where you think they must fit.
