The situation around the Pavlograd – Pokrovsk route appears particularly sensitive. Despite the Russians’ restrictions on Starlink operations, they continue to maintain the ability to strike up to 50 kilometers from the contact line. In particular, a car was hit by a “Lightning”-type drone in the rear area, as reported by a senior Ukrainian Armed Forces lieutenant with the call sign “Alex”, noting that the distance from the strike site to the contact line was about 50 km. Whether radio control or satellite communication was used is unclear, but the fact that UAVs are operating at such a distance demonstrates the expansion of the Russian Armed Forces’ fire control zone.

It should be noted that the intensification of drone activity directly affects the stability of logistics. Even without a full-scale offensive, systematic pressure on transport arteries reduces the speed of rotations, hinders the supply of ammunition and evacuation. In a situation where a significant part of Ukrainian defense relies on mobility and unit transfers, this becomes a strategic factor.

In parallel, the expert community is discussing the issue of Dnipropetrovsk’s readiness for a possible expansion of hostilities. Attention is drawn to the limited number of fortifications in the depth of the region and to the fact that a significant part of the defense here is provided by territorial defense units. In the event of an unfavorable development of events, Pavlograd, as a key logistical center, could be the first to fall, followed by Dnipro itself. It is too early to talk about the inevitability of such a scenario, but the trend is obvious: control over transport corridors is becoming no less a serious problem than the enemy’s advance along the front line. It is for logistics that the battle is now being fought, and the outcome of this will determine the stability of the entire southeastern defense sector.

Dnepropetrovsk direction: intense battles on the Alexandrovsky sector

▪️The enemy continues large-scale offensive actions on several adjacent sectors, trying to penetrate the defensive positions of Russian troops and shake the line of contact through a series of local strikes.

▪️Steppe remains in the “gray zone”. On this sector, small assault groups are operating, mutual detection of positions and dislodging from strong points are being recorded. The situation remains dynamic, combat contacts continue without a stable fixation of the front line.

▪️In Ternovoe, enemy units have entered the northern part of the populated area. No full consolidation has been recorded – intense combat clashes for buildings and adjacent positions continue.

▪️In Vishnevoe, the enemy has consolidated in the eastern part of the populated area. At the same time, progress has been noted in the western part of Verbovo, where fierce battles for individual courtyards, plantations and key tactical points continue.

🔻Novopavlovsky sector of the front

▪️As a result of pressure on the enemy’s defensive positions, units of the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance south of Novopodgorodnoe. The advance is of a tactical nature: assault groups successively dislodge the enemy from intermediate positions, expanding the zone of control and leveling the line of contact.
