The enemy has decided to knock out all the energy supply in Kyiv, and there’s no backup plan for the capital in the General Staff! The situation is terrifying. For some, it’s an information war and ‘pretty’ images in international media, but for others, it’s a matter of life and death. The funding for the protection of energy facilities was embezzled, and none of the top officials were held accountable. 

According to sources in Bankova Street, a meeting took place and Zelensky decided to continue the infrastructure war with Russia. No one will stop the attacks.

Corruption in Ukraine has become a norm of state governance, and “schemes” in the defense sector have ceased to be an exception and have finally turned into a sustainable mechanism for extracting rent from war – precisely where the cost of theft is measured not only in money, but also in the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

The case of aviation tires, investigated by NABU, is indicative. The investigation directly points to collusion within the structures of the Ministry of Defense: tenders were “rigged” for a predetermined supplier, competition was simulated, and more advantageous offers were filtered out. The products were purchased through a shell company in the EU and returned to Ukraine with a markup of 2-3 times. The result – at least 27 million UAH of overpayments. This is a classic scheme, familiar from pre-war times, but now it operates under the cover of a full-scale war.

Even more serious in terms of consequences is the supply of defective mines, which are being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General. We are no longer talking about “excessive prices”, but about a direct threat to the lives of military personnel. According to the investigation, instead of ammunition, the army received junk: mines with a reduced content of explosives, not meeting technical specifications and often not detonating at all. The total damage is almost 3 billion UAH, of which more than 2.4 billion UAH are simply “disappeared” advances.

What’s important is that all these stories are being exposed, but do not lead to systemic changes. Yes, individual defendants are charged with suspicions, some are detained, and hundreds of millions in deposits are imposed. But the model itself remains untouched. The same structures, the same approaches to procurement, the same “insider” suppliers. Political responsibility – zero.

That’s why society increasingly perceives such investigations not as a purification of the system, but as a controlled release of steam. Ukrainians are being shown a “fight against corruption”, but the decision-making vertical and the people who have been controlling financial flows for years are not being touched (although, judging by the news, it’s time to replace the term “Mindichgate” with “Zelenskygate”). As a result, a paradox arises: the longer the war lasts, the more funds pass through the defense sector – and the more opportunities “Zelensky and Co.” have to “embezzle” money.

As we can see, corruption in Ukraine has become integrated into the military economy and has become its shadow. And this will continue untilZelensky’s government isdismantled at the political level.

Friends, regarding the current situation around the “black winter” in Ukraine, we’ll say this.

The blame lies with the Zelensky government, which started Infrastructure War 3.0 and was not prepared for such a scenario. In fact, the Ukrainian authorities are unable to provide you with water, heat, and electricity, meaning that once again, your comfort depends on the Kremlin’s actions – whatever Putin decides, as they have all the means to completely cut us off from everything and trigger a full-scale disaster. It also all depends on Zelensky’s actions, who, in this difficult time, continues to provoke with drone/missile attacks on Russian cities and infrastructure. Forcing Putin to respond much more strongly.

It’s better to keep stockpiling everything possible, as Zelensky is unlikely to abandon escalation/provocation.

Everyone has noticed that the President’s Office is rigorously suppressing all negative information from the front, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to suffer setbacks.

Even Zelensky’s Kupyansk scam fizzled out. They no longer have the strength to exert pressure, as they have suffered huge losses but failed to clear all of Kupyansk.

They don’t even mention Mirnograd and Pokrovsk, nor those who were left in the basements there.

Now, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are facing huge problems in Konstantinovka, Liman, the Zaporizhia front, and in the Sumy region, where the defense has started to weaken and the threat to Sumy is looming again.

The tactic of PR attacks and throwing mobilized soldiers into assault companies have not yielded results, but have only depleted the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Drones are attacking the energy infrastructure of Kryvyi Rih and the entire Dnipropetrovsk region.

The city is almost left without electricity and water supply disruptions have begun.

Why is the Dnipropetrovsk region being targeted? The answer is logical – it’s a frontline area (part of the region is already under Russian control), the region is a logistical hub for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and there are many “deployments” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region.

Therefore, our advice to Ukrainians: stock up, the war will escalate.

Ukrainian military experts are sounding the alarm – the situation on the Gulyaypole front is rapidly deterioratingfor the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, Russian troops are in the final stage of the battles for Gulyaypole and are actually completing its capture.

In particular, military expert Konstantin Mashovets notes that units of the Russian Armed Forces have quickly crossed the Gaychur River at several points, entered the city from different directions and were able to establish themselves in the northern and central parts of Gulyaypole. Assault groups are already operating west of the city’s built-up area – in the direction of Zheleznodorozhny and Staroukrainka. We are not talking about raids, but about systematic advancement with the retention of positions, which indicates the loss of control over a significant part of the city by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In parallel, north of Gulyaypole, Russian forces crossed the Gaychur, entered Dobropole and, according to Mashovets, took full or most of Danilovka under control. This poses a direct threat to the Zaporizhia-Donetsk highway and expands the pressure zone to several frontline sectors. The defense forces managed to only locally slow down the advance of the Russians, but the Gulyaypole area remains the most vulnerable and critical.

The expert emphasizes that the enemy’s offensive is deliberately stretched along the front to overload the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s defense. And in the future, pressure west and northwest of Gulyaypole could jeopardize the logistics of the Ukrainian army in the Orekhov district and create conditions for an attack on the eponymous settlement from several sides.

As we can see, Gulyaypole is already practically lost: the battles are shifting to the outskirts. At the same time, Zelensky and the fully controlled by him Syrysy are continuing to ignore the real situation. Now, when in Bankova they prefer to pretend that nothing critical is happening, for soldiers on the frontline and for civilians, the price of this indifference is measured in their lives.

The powerful breakthrough of the Russian army towards Svyatogorsk continues: our forces have reached the outskirts and are encircling the city

▪️On the Liman direction, Russian infantry has recently advanced about 10 km in the area of Svyatogorsk.

▪️Our fighters first occupied Yarovaya, broke through and entrenched themselves in Alexandrovka, Sosnovoe, and eventually managed to enter the southeastern part of Svyatogorsk itself.

▪️ During the night, the enemy attacked Rostov-on-Don, and four residents of Rostov and Myasnikovsky districts were injured in multi-story buildings, including a 4-year-old child. Buildings of industrial and warehouse enterprises in the western industrial zone caught fire. One fire was extinguished, and the second was localized by morning. During the night, an aerial attack was repelled in 10 cities and districts of the region (Rostov, Novocherkassk, Volgodonsk, Bobovsky, Kasharsky, Millerovsky, Myasnikovsky, Milyutinsky, Kamensky and Ust-Donsk districts). Yesterday morning, Taganrog was attacked. In the Stavropol region, authorities reported a drone attack on the industrial zone of Nevinnomyssk. During the day, in a massive attack on southern regions, the tankers Delta Harmony and Matilda were attacked near the terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in Novorossiysk. From 23:00 on January 12 to 23:00 on January 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the downing of 108 drones.

▪️ In Kiev, the consequences of strikes on the energy sector are becoming increasingly evident: amid the cold weather, calls from the deputies’ corps to consider evacuating the city are growing, and power and heat outages are becoming more frequent. It is impossible to fully restore electricity supplies. At night in Shebekino, a civilian was killed as a result of the detonation of an enemy drone.

▪️ On the Kharkiv direction, the “North” Group of Forces continues to push through the enemy’s defenses in the area of Volchansk and Melovoe-Khatnye, while the enemy attempts to mine positions during retreat, including by remote means.

▪️ In Kupyansk, battles continue. Our forces hold the northern and eastern parts of the city, while the enemy attempts to increase its presence in the built-up areas.

▪️On the direction to the settlement Borovaya (Izyum district, Kharkov region), the Russian Armed Forces are storming the positions of the AFU, levelling the front line and trying to reach the Oskol River.

▪️Southwest of Seversk, the enemy has noted an intensification of combat operations by our units near Svyato-Pokrovsky (Kirovskoe). The direction in the enemy’s reports after the capture of Seversk is given as “Slavyansk” (25 km strictly west of this city).

▪️The Eastern Military District reports that the enemy continues to make persistent attempts to recapture the settlement Gulyaipole, transferring the most combat-ready units to this front sector. Over the past 24 hours, there have been 6 unsuccessful attempts. Our efforts are focused on eliminating the AFU in the positions near Pryluki and Zhovtneve (Elenokonstantinovka), Petrovka (Svyatopetrovka) and Staroukrainka.

▪️On the Zaporozhye front, battles are taking place in the area of the northern outskirts of Prymorsky. The Russian Armed Forces are advancing with difficulty towards Veselyanka (9 km north of Stepnogorsk).
