Just when Satan thought he had derailed God’s Plans by deceiving Adam and Eve, God used ‘His Grace and Mercy’ to defeat Satan and succeeded in rescuing Man from eternal damnation but also informed Satan how the One who shall be coming will bruise his head and take back the keys of Death and Hell which Satan had stolen from Adam and Eve.

After reviewing Parts 1 and 2 of this Bible study, we have a better understanding of just how awesome our God is and why He worked so hard to create the Earth as we now know, the planets and beyond.

God had all the intentions of making Adam and Eve (not created by His spoken Word but formed of the dust) to be His Regents of the whole Earth to glorify Him forever.

As we study the Bible further, God gave Adam and Eve the ultimate latitude for them to not only represent Him but also replenish the rest of the Earth with limitless supply of everything they needed then and forever.

Actually, God created the Garden of Eden that was ‘HOLY, RIGHTEOUS,DEATHLESS AND SINLESS’ and perfect beyond our imaginations or comprehensions. When He finished “God called it Good” and it was very close to the similar conditions in haven as possible.

As the saying goes, God made Adam and Eve from scratch (from the Earth’s dirt) “in their image and likeness” with uncorrupted Spirit, Soul and a Body. Adam’s and Eve’s blood was holy and pure because God created everything holy and pure.

As we study the Bible further, we will learn how important the Holy Righteous blood of Adam and Ave was for their relationship with God.  The Word of God teaches us that Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) ^“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

But God also set a boundary for them not to violate and warned them that if they ever did, they would surely die.

The boundary Adam and Eve were told not to cross is mentioned in Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV) - “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

¹⁷ But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

The seriousness and implication of the penalty of disobeying God’s above-mentioned commandment (BOUNDERY) to Adam and Eve is what changed the course for humanity for ETERNITY.

 

 

 

WE BELIEVE THIS IS THE MOST TRAGIC STORY OF THE BIBLE:

As the Bible teaches us that Satan deceived Adam and Eve by persuading them to go ahead to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. Genesis 3:4-5 (KJV) – ^“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

⁵ For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

Here we see Satan used one of his methods of deceptions by suggestions and rationalizing to undermine the Word of God by questioning and doubting.  In our opinion, Satan, and his followers, have continued to use this mode to deceive people from knowing the truth of the Word of God and The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Here we have the confirmation that God had made Adam and Eve with their ‘FREE WILL’.

Before we share who Satan is and when or how he was first created by God and who he is now, and why was he present in the Garden of Eden, we must first review what immediately happened as soon as Eve and then Adam ate the fruit in disobedience to God’s commandment.

As we have already studied in the previous sessions, Adam and Eve were made by God with a Spirit, a Soul and a Body and they had been given full delegated authority by God to have dominion over the Earth and everything that lived upon it and also to replenish the Earth and multiply. Now their actions of disobedience brought sin in their lives and the flow of God given anointing to accomplish their initial assignment was gone.

But they listened to Satan and by their actions of disobedience, they shunned the kingdom of God and became victims of the Kingdom of Satan. Instantly, after their actions to eat the fruit their Spirits died and separated from God.

Instantly, after they had eaten the fruit, THE GLORY OF GOD THAT HAD COVERED THEM WAS GONE and they saw themselves totally naked and covered themselves with leaves. At that very instance, they became the first sinners and victims of the Kingdom of Satan. Because of their disobeying God, every person born since then is also a victim of the Kingdom of Satan.

Who is Satan and when was he created? The Bible teaches us that God created Satan as a most beautiful and adorned cherub to lead in the continued worship and praise of God in the Throne room, and he became jealous of God’s Glory and in his heart Satan desired to be ‘god’ himself and be even higher than God. God perceived his sin and cast him and one third of the Angels who Satan had deceived to follow him ‘down to the Earth’.

Isaiah 14:12-14 (KJV) – ^“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ¹³ For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: ¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

^{Revelations 12:7-9 (KJV) – “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.“}

Jesus during His ministry on Earth he said:

Luke 18:18 (KJV) – “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

The above scriptures confirm that certain event took place prior to Genesis 1 in the Spirit realm then affected what happened later on the Earth from that point on.

This was a major tragedy with eternal implications for all of humanity.  Because of one man’s sin, damnation came upon everyone born since then and all are considered sinners and a victim of the Kingdom of Satan. More about this in future Bible Studies.

Another question that is often raised:  Did Adam and Eve physically die as God as had warned them what will happen if the touch and ate the fruit?

We believe that Adam and Eve experienced a Spiritual Death (separation from God) and opened the door for their physical bodies to follow, eventually also physically dying. The residual power and life of God slowly drained out from their physical bodies due to their sin and separation from God’s flowing anointing and power.

This was confirmed by the Word of God little further in the Book of Genesis 5:5 (KJV)- “And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.“ They were separated forever from the Kingdom of God and became citizens of the Kingdom of Satan.

As it was previously mentioned, that besides the Physical Earth (in the seen) realm there is also a (unseen) Spiritual Realm and many other events that transpired sometime before the accounts happened in the spirit realm before Genesis 1:1.

The Bible teaches us that God originally created Satan as a most adorned beautiful Cherub to lead the continuous worship of God on His throne.

Ezekiel 28:12-17 KJV) “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

¹³ Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

¹⁴ Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

¹⁵ Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

¹⁶ By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

¹⁷ Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

Also, as recorded in the Bible in Luke 10:18 (KJV) that Jesus said about Satan (now a fallen angel):

^” And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

We believe the above statement of Jeus also confirms that Jesus was present Heaven when Genesis God said “Let us agree to create a man in our image and likeness”.

The following scriptures provide additional information about Satan’s demise and the other one-third angels that were cast out of heaven by God. In studying the Word of God in other books Satan is the Prince of the Air around the Earth in the spirit realm.

Ephesians 2:2 (KJV) – ^“herein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.“
